I would say that I agree with you, but I don't mind the event. I'd rather play this than an event that requires a planeswalker that I don't currently own.2

Then don't play. I'm not even sure why this is even an issue? You should be spending time with your family, gosh knows I do and often clear nodes when the lovely wife is asleep.I said this before. The only person forcing you to play is yourself. That said, yes RotGP has been played to death. I would like a fresher event too. But I also like playing a lot of events at once. I clear nodes too fast (hence why I wait till late at night) and am often left twiddling my thumbs in TG out of boredom. but that is me.

Maybe I'm the only one left but I actually look forward to RotGP every week.1

I don't mind playing RotGP as long as the game allows me to actually join it next time. Doesn't feel good to let your coalition down.0

I'm aware that not playing is an option; I am voicing my frustration with the current event schedule here because some stakeholders have a vested interest, financial or otherwise, in my continued enjoyment of this game.1

Sadly, my collection does not have good cards for Samut... so why spend crystals on a planeswalker/event that I'll likely not enjoy?0 -

While I agree that it's a boring event, I'm not sure that a request to get rid of it is very compelling to the company if you admit that you play it regardless, even sacrificing other things to do so. Their interest is in your continued playing, not so much your enjoyment or state of mind.I'm guessing that they have a planned event timeline, and won't remove it from the schedule early unless participation declines.

I understand that what is too much for some people is not for others.
This past weekend I went to a peewee soccer game, a Thanksgiving lunch at my father's house, played board games with my daughter and a game of paper MtG with my son, and still had time to play both events fully.2 -
I honestly don't like the turn these forums have taken recently; either prove you have a happy homelife and supportive friends or be cast out as a neckbeard suffering from false consciousness.

Well I'm both.0

But my wife and I often play sitting together on the couch while watching TV, so this is _part_ of our happy homelife (most of the time).
We all need mental health breaks though, this last weekend there was way too much on, I should've only played to progression in both events instead of pushing myself. But for this to actually help your state of mind you need to _decide_ to do it upfront, not just fall back to it when you are forced to.0 -

The thing that sticks out is the quality of life is purely in the hands of those signing into the mtgpq app and how they use that time. To each their own i say... but it sure isn't D3/oktagon's fault.2 -
RotGP would be more bearable if we didn't have to rebuild our decks every event. Then we can choose to just continue with what we played last time if we're short on time, or rebuild new decks if looking for a new adventure.3

Why can't we just bring back old PvE events? I miss Avacyn. Hell, I'd even take the kaladesh ones, even though I like them better in their current form
