that's what Amazon does with even physical products: sell newly launch stuff at full rrp prices. if the same product doesn't move, then offer progressively better prices till its entire inventory is cleared. 

I am surprised d3go doesn't know that their game model is a p2w model and its end goal should be to have all the players own all the cards through spending money.

if Olivia doesn't sell well at $50, then after a period of time, maybe 3 months, reduce it to $40. Then rinse and repeat till maybe a minimum price of $25 per card (50% off). D3go can even keep the card on constant sale at $25.

I am sure new players will definitely jump in and buy said powerful card with cash.
