Sad that you have such low expectations for this team that you think that's an unreasonable gripe.  As much as you complain about everyone complaining it is amazing how you stand up for complete ineptitude from the developers at literally every turn.

You asked why they stopped. I pointed out why. You can't play both ends and call it both a good idea and a bad one just to disagree with me.

I'm just as vocal about stupid things the team does. When you say stupid things, I don't hold back either.

Okay fine... but when there were unlimited other options they could have employed to actually have functioning objectives and also created variety is where I am annoyed.

Ultimately it just shows a lack of a plan and/or ability to execute it.  They should never have been surprised that white zombies weren't a thing.  They shouldn't have been reactionary to fix it by stopping all future rotations.

But I apologize @Ohboy, I thought you were defending their stance by saying we complained about white zombies.  In retrospect, it appears you were simply pointing out the reason for the ham fisted adjustment from the developers.

They simply committed the sin of giving you too many choices.

Taking the white node for instance, if they had said on different weeks

    Summon 2 spirits(white)

    Summon 2 zombies(black)

I assume that would have been OK with you.

Instead they said 2 spirits or 2 zombies and just switched the colors and for some reason there was outrage over no white zombies even though the end result was the same.

Not even the exactly the same if I recall correctly. It allowed for cool stuff like summoning a horror and a vampire in one single creature.

Well, I certainly wasn't one of those complaining.  I don't think I even made my first post on the forums until sometime in the Emrakul block when I made some suggestion threads about how to create more fun objectives.

Regardless, this seems like a case of making a really bad adjustment just because of a few squeaky wheels.

But I retain my stance that they do a horrible job of innovative and interesting events and content. Exhibit A is their attempt to fix the currently boring rotation by making HoR legacy.

Given that the design of new content falls under oktagon's pervue, I think it's a bit premature to make such sweeping judgements.

The HoR change seems like a reasonably simple attempt to mix it up without going beyond their capabilities. It's arguably out of touch with player needs/preferences, but I welcome any signs of life and hope we can take this opportunity to put down the torches and pitchforks and be welcoming instead of hostile.

@Brigby will the team be able to revert back to standard if/when the data shows it should be? Or is this something we should expect going forward until Ixalan events supplant the current coalition events?

I plan on discussing this topic with the team this week, and I will be sure to present them the community's feedback. I can't guarantee that any decisions to revert changes will be able to be applied to this week's run of Hour of Revelation, but I will bring up that point during the discussion, as well.

Ok, well the developers up until this point.  I of course don't blame Oktagon for Hibernium's ineptitude.  But I would like to encourage Oktagon to focus on this very important part of the game.

And while I agree that it is nice to see them make an attempt to improve the game state, I don't think that arguing for why it might be a bad idea is the same as grabbing a torch and pitchfork.

The torches and pitchforks will come out when unsuspecting casual players run into my disgustingly trolled out legacy decks in HoR tomorrow.

Rereading my comment, I can see that I did not express myself well.

The torches and pitchforks comment wasn't directed at your comment @Babar335, but more at the tenor of the forums as a whole.

    I apologize for being unclear.

You never have to apologize to me friend.  I see your point.
