Bug Fixes

Cards, Planeswalkers & Gameplay

  • Alhammarret's Archive is preventing lifegain from any source.
  • Creatures fails to be destroyed at the end of turn when playing Glorious End.
  • Card is moved to top of the hand when cancelling casting a spell.
  • First strike creatures are taking damage when they outright kill a creature.
  • Activate-x cards are not creating their gems.
  • On Enter Battlefield is triggered twice.
  • Lightning Runner attacks a second time against a destroyed creature when attacking a debuffed creature.
  • With New Perspective on the board, Cast Out does not gain mana when it is drawn.
  • Artwork fails to display when viewing the first card in the hand after the encounter begins.
  • Cycling Oketra's Attendants does not create Embalm gems.
  • Destroy spells do not kill creatures with Prevent Damage.

UI, UX, Localization & Graphics

  • App can freeze when viewing all the cards in the Free Booster.
  • App slows down, sometimes hangs when assigning a PW and a Deck in Events.
  • The button is unresponsive when tapping the Purchase button for Planeswalkers on the right side of the screen in the Planeswalker tab.
  • Coalition Challenges should display the timer as well as the remaining boss health
    Node recharge count does not visually update.
  • The card mastery animation is not fullscreen.
  • The first card, that is drawn, doesn't load the correct art asset until a stable internet connection is established
  • Placeholder text displays when viewing the Purchase Limit text on the Epic Starter Pack.
  • Chromatic Gachas have a loc_key in their category names

  • The Coalition Rewards (From 1-2 / 3-10) aren't set as designed.
  • Blue Node in Trial of Ambition is not Enraged

          @Brigby are there any details on this? What rewards have we been geting that we should not be getting, or vice-versa?

          When it comes to what the fixes for the Coalition Rewards were, I'm getting confirmation from the developers as we speak. I will update this thread once I find out that information.

          Is it an oversight that gods can now be killed by creature spells? It really seems like they should be indestructible, but able to be disabled / exiled.

          The difference is that in paper magic you can avoid the gods, or exile them. In puzzlequest your entire board gets wiped, since a single god can block ALL of them, and if he is unable to operate, you cannot cast more than 2 other creatures, both issues not present in the paper version. So it seems about right that they are not invincible. Ever faced Rhonas with reach?

            So when are they going to fix the bug where (indestructable) Gods can be killed with destroy spells? Or should I request a refund of my jewels?

            @Brigby weren't the Gods supposed to be indestructible and only vulnerable to bounce, -x/-x spells like battle at the bridge, or to destroy spells only after having them disabled? 

            tried a simple destroy spell on my rhonas and it just dies. bummer

            Agreed. There are many ways to get rid of gods without killing them. Claustrophobia, cast-out, any disable spell really...hixus, suppression bonds, the list goes on and on. Bounce, -X/-X, tuck. The gods are just mediocre undergrowth champions now because at least UC can grow off landfall.

            Bring back the old gods!!!

            The gods always had "prevent damage" they never had "indestructible" within this game. So anyone complaining that their god is no longer indestructible, it was never supposed to be. This was a problem in how kill spells were removing creature. The game was treating a kill spell the same as a damage dealing spell and prevented the damage rather than outright killing the creature.

            This was the same thing we ran into as an issue with Undergrowth Champion several months ago, so it should be no surprise that they had to address this issue again now that it broke for all creatures with prevent damage.

            the issue is lazy coding since they didnt code destroy effects properly, destroy is supposed to be different from death by damage.

            The gods should be indestructible.  They are on paper, I would expect similar treatment here under most circumstances..  After all, they are GODS.  It's time for MTGPQ to add a new keyword or add text to make them indestructible  (and leave other creatures with Prevent Damage susceptible to destroy spells).  It makes sense within the lore of the set as well.

            getting an indestructible creature is supposed to be one of the perk of jumping hoops to get them activated. devs must have never played the paper version, or notion of flavor.

            The gods are pretty much useless at this point. Indestructible means they cannot be destroyed. Like others have been saying, there are many ways to deal with them. Disable,exile,-×/-×,bounce. They do have drawbacks that prevent them from being too powerful. They cannot attack or block without a certain condition met. You got the programming on them right the first time. It was on the prevent damage is where you made a mistake. Please return the "gods" to what they really were intended to be.. INDESTRUCTIBLE.

            Please return the gods to being rightfully indestructible. What is even the point of the newly introduced mechanic Exile? That is meant to be one of the only ways to remove indestructible creatures.

            Indestructible works when there are exile cards readily available. But when exile is only available in one color at masterpiece rarity, indestructiblity needs to be delayed.
