Just curious, since it seems like there are divergent opinions on the subject.

I don't like it, but I'm fine with the duration, so I can at least reach progression rewards.

I was marveling to myself last week that I was having genuine fun with the new PVE and the new standard, figuring out new strategies, close games, new cards to play with.

But of course they should always leave you wanting more and 5 days a week of playing the same thing for weeks at a time not only will become boring/frustrating but is exacerbating my RSI/arthritis.

I like the event and would like for it to be shorter, but not without first adjusting progression rewards to make it more realistic for most players to reach that reward with regular play.

It's just an amonkhet booster, not like it would break anything to make it 600 instead or something like that

Considering they upped for progression to 850 ribbons, last time around I barely made progression before the event was pulled.

Granted the reward for making full progression was hardly worth the time and effort, but it would be even more frustrating if after that many days of playing, it was pulled before even before progression could be met.

and be a bit generous on the prize, that basic booster is a sick joke

I don't like it, but I think it should be longer, because I hate all of humankind.

I hate it from all points of view.
-The opponents are nowhere as interesting as what I faced in both Kaladesh PVE events. (sure, Tezz was a pain even there, but at least we had all four sets - no Standard)
    - The 3.x nodes are RIDICULOUS. I can effortlessly win any match with my cycling decks but that takes forever and I don't DARE try anything else against those masterpiece-filled decks. (that's stupid!). So it's a chore right now! (last time I played a game that became a chore, I left soon afterwards... and that's not a threat but a statement)
    - The rewards are horrible. Basic boosters in platinum from what I hear?! Are you kidding me? Have you seen that progression?! No... just no!
    - The progression is slow as *tinnykitty*. Lots of effort for poor effort. If it weren't for owing it to my coalition, I wouldn't give a damn or bother with this stupid event until it becomes worth my effort.

I really like the event and the challenge that the third node poses. I like to find the perfect deck and then it actually feels rewarding. I also like the idea of a longer progression bar but after a while the 100 point gap to the next reward feels too long. I'd prefer shorter progression intervalls with more AKH boosters. The game certainly was more generous with boosters from the newest set in the past, especially considering that a whole batch of cards will come later. So, there are fewer cards that are harder to get. Overall, it doesn't have to be so long but I'm glad if there is always something to play. Better than FIRF!

Since the app crashes for me before I can finish more than a match or 2, I haven't been able to really see what the deal is with this.  But I do like the challenge of making a good standard deck.  That's pretty fun (and hard)

I LIKE the long length just because I don't get to play more then like an hour a day. And with long node recharges, if when I lose a match its a huge set back. I would like the power level of the 3 node toned down a bit, the only way I am standing a chance is riding Hixis. I can barely keep out 3 creatures, so chipping away at 400ish health with a band of 5/5s is a slog.

Id like to chance my answer, it feels like the current eventi is rushing past way top fast for progressione scores. Something like 2 more rounds than now might just hit the sweet spot.

    1. Need it to be longer because they upped the ribbon requirement.
    2. That basic booster is just silly for Platinum tier.
    3. Or shorten it and return the ribbon advancement back to 750 tops, instead.
    4. I feel like unless I have a white color/mix PW that has Cast Out I don't have a chance against any of the 3.'s. If I can lock all three down, somehow, then I have it.

So yeah, none of the vote answers work for me, but those are my humble opinions.

Last week I couldn't even make a start against 3.1.  Then got cast out and managed 3.1 and 3.2. No strategy yet for 3.3 sigh.  You didn't give me the option I wanted which was ... now that j finally got to the 3's I'd like it longer so j can get some traction on 3.3 and also more progression with the small gods

The rewards ribbons requirements are bigger than anyone can achieve in a coalition before the actual boss life finishes.

D3go should balance life and ribbons requiered to achieve rewards in order to make this event worthy to play.

Rewards are not leveled with the difficulty of the event.

It's nice that they have a player base who's willing to test things like this for them so they don't have to... :/

There's a message here.  Over the course of an entire weekend I've managed to accumulate nearly the same rewards I get with one day of Training Grounds.  The message is "Don't bother."

Once you get New Perspectives it's a breeze to make a decent cycling deck that totally stomps over all 3.x decks (any PVE decks actually).

I beat all 3 tiers without a cycling deck. Hardly use AKH cards in fact. I think the event is ridiculously set up on the progression rewards. So much time required for such poor rewards. Last event I fell asleep twice mid games - something that hasn't happened to me before - to illustrate how boring it has become. No exclusive card at the end. Weirdly set length (too long and now too short). D3 bombed on many aspects of the event.

Was it really too short? I found 3+ days to be pretty tiresome towards the end.

Or we adjusting expectations to progression rewards? So too short to reasonably expect to hit 850? Which is what d3h want the focus to be of course, rather than saying 850 itself is silly for progression (though reasonable if there's a solid prize at the end).

Personally, around 2.5 days with basic booster reward cut and all other rewards moved up a notch with final pack being at 700 would suit me fine.

I voted that I don't like it and it should be shorter, but I have to elaborate one point: I'm not talking about the duration/HP needing to be shorter, I mean that the progression meter needs to be shorter.

800 points to get all rewards when the bosses are tinykitty broken like that is just far, far, far, far, FAR too much points.
