Best Node Clearing Teams - opinions out there?

Hi,

There are obvious ones, Thanos and Strange together(fast) or separate(resilient) with true healing folks (wolvie/daken/rock3tgroot)

But what else do others use that really clear those node fast?

For easy nodes (so first 3 nodes of PvE, seeds in Lightning Rounds) i advise Thanos that can deal 4k damage (so slightly above being Champion) with some 5* (sure - OML for true heal might be good choice but in LR he doesn't get the chance to use the heal so it can be anybody). Or a boosted 4*. Why? Match damage can soften and/or kill anybody on Thanos' way.

If you are in 3* land but have the 5* you are not using them for anything else so the self damage from Thanos means nothing but using the 5* will speed up the clear.

If you don't have 5* - take anybody boosted that you will not use to clear the difficult nodes. That way you don't care for self damage as well.

I use Old Man Logan, 3 Star Doctor Strange, and 3 Star Sam Wilson usually.
Sometimes I'll sprinkle in Invisible Woman, 2 Star Black Widow, or 5 Star Black Widow.

Edit: Oh you said fast.. yeah i'm not into fast.

I find that my go-to team at the moment is carol wasp and medusa. Sometimes switch out medusa for blade.
Two yellow matches and two blue and once the ball gets rolling it's really hard to stop it.
The damage increase is exponential and most of the time you get to down an enemy with just ine match

Right you are sir (or madam!) And I don't even have her champed yet. She sits at 551 but does exactly what that team needs her to do

Carols Yellow passive is key to buffing special tiles everytime a countdown reaches zero, which will be every turn once you get enough blue for Wasp's passive to activate. And every couple of turns for Medusa IIRC

If there is a goon on the other team, I often use Bl4de, Strange, and Medusa for trivial/easy nodes. Blade's free strikes quickly amplify the passive damage from Strange and Medusa; if you decide to match red instead of leaving it on the board, he'll deal a bunch of damage with his own passive as well (The Bloodlust). Medusa heals the team (and generates green for Blade's AOE and blue for Strange's stun if the other team is making special tiles). The only thing that can slow you down is a super red-starved board.

I haven't been back long, but it seems like Winfinite (Prof X, GSBW, and SW) is just as OP as ever for PvE. The only thing they changed is that Prof X has to be quite a few levels lower than the other two, but even on wave nodes of max level goons the games go: SW blue countdown tile goes off, take nearly infinite turns.

Here are my standard PVE fast clearing teams, but it depends on who's boosted of course:

Easy Nodes: Medusa, IF, Strange (goons) or Blade (non-goons)
Med-Hard Nodes: IM40, Peggy, Rhulk (non-goons) OR Star Lord, Switch, Cyclops (goons)
Wave Nodes: Wasp, Powerman, Star Lord OR Wasp, 3*Falcon, Switch

Notes: Thanos, Medusa, Strange is fast, but requires health packs

    Future PVE Team: 4*Rocket + 4*Star Lord + Medusa (can't wait!)

    Yes, SW is Scarlet Witch.
    Your ideal build is
    SW 3/5/5
    GSBW 5/3/5
    Prof X 5/5/0

Prof X must be low enough level that purple is your teams strongest color.

You use SW blue countdown to power a match 5+ of purple, which triggers PX blue for additional purple. You immediately start using GSBW purple to match 5 as many greens as possible, which will continue to power the purple engine. If you run out of moves you use GSBW green to shake up the board. You can use the match 5 bonus AP to go nearly infinite, never giving the AI another turn while mowing down waves of nodes.

for easy nodes i almost exclusively use IF/cag3/Strange... its fast and works well with both goons and non-goon enemies

My go to PVE team for a long time was

OML with 2 yellow covers, 3* cyclops and Chulk - OML as a tank, cyclops being covered by OML  and Chulk because of health and his blue power

Now its IM40, Chulk and 3* Strange - get yellow fast to recharge and quickly pound with Chulk's green, meanwhile Strange weakens any mob that fires a power. Currently this team blows through DDQ Big Enchilada so fast I sometimes don't know what's going on till there are 2-3 opponents left.

Rulk, with some combination of IM40, Switch, or Chulk.  Just battery Rulk's green, either directly or provide him enough purple to generate his own.

I think Mordo and 3* Fist make a pretty rapid foundation - quick black generation that gets recycled by matching charge tiles.  Doom also generates black, but consumes blue Mordo can use for damage + off-color charge tiles, so it's not as efficient.  Their third could be 4Thor so she can exploit the charge tiles, or Black Bolt for automatic damage if you've got him.  Absent that, a strong strike tile generator to capitalize on frequent low-damage AoE from Mordo.

Been experimenting with Carol lately, and I am liking what I'm seeing...

Carol and 3*Blade IMO are a match made in Heaven, I let blade create strike tiles naturally with his passive, and if there are none then I use his purple to create attack tiles and I power his black instead of Carol's for infinite 1 CD tile, so every turn that it's on the board it two tiles get boosted, by 364 in my case.  And then I can always use Carol's yellow for an extra boost, and spawn another of Blade's black tiles as well.

The 3rd character tends to vary however.  I started off with 3Fist using his purple to make more black, 7k extra damage has been made with this combo so far.  Lately, however,  I've been using SW.  I use Carol's yellow to spawn purple tiles from SW's passive which allows for more of Blade's attack tiles, as well as boosting them.  With this I've seen 10k extra generated which is stellar!

But when I'm in the mood for a fast clear, 3Strange and 3Thanos plus anyone else is sufficient.

Forgot to mention, if I had R&G Vol2 built up enough, this could be the perfect trio, Carol/SW/R&G2.  I say that because R&GV2 start the game with strike tiles, so no need to even generate them, and SW starts with a count down tile.  A couple of yellow matches and your boosting begins.

Depends on who is boosted and difficulty, but some of my favorite teams are OML/R&G3/Thanos and OML/Teen Jean/Switch.  The first team for easy nodes, and the second team for goons or whenever Jean is boosted.  Switch feeding Jeen purple is awesome.

My Thanos team for easy nodes consists of 3* Thanos, 4* Agent Venom (SURPRISE! A quick 5 black gets me almost 3900 damage to trigger Thanos' Court Death), and 5* Cap for match damage softening.
