I haven't placed any money into this game for a couple reasons, first because I am cheap, but second because I dont want to level my teams to the point I will face 230s and higher. I would be interested in a poll for people who have paid to see what levels they have v/s the levels of their PVE goons.
  • 5$ for roster slots on my steam account (which I seldom play), none on mobile account.

Leveling your team isn't going to directly result in you facing high level opponents whether you've put $$ into the game or not. Beating teams while taking minimal damage will increase their levels...winning streaks seem to do this too. Among other things, most of which we only half understand.
  • $0. Don't worry bugpop. If nothing else, take solace knowing that you allowed iceIX to eat today icon_e_smile.gif

$65 but I'm also now sitting on 6800 HP right now so those last two logans loonies purchases were probably unnecessary....but I also have no spending willpower when it comes to gaming icon_lol.gif
  • $5, early on for slots.
  • I went three weeks without putting any money into the game and then I decided to buy two Agency Expenses so that I could add roster slots. Then a few days later, I bought a Logan's Loonies for more slots and shielding. Finally, I bought an Asgardian Treasure when they had the sale and used that to buy a slot for the alliance I'm in. I'm down a little more than 1000 HP from when I bought it, but that was almost a month ago. In total, I've spent $80 on the game, which is still $20 less than the most I've ever put into a game.

I have found that I really felt the benefit of the first few purchases and while I wish I had done them sooner, I know that I wouldn't have because I was still learning the game and trying to decide if I liked it enough to put money into it. Now, I am sitting on a nice stack of HP and use it to buy roster slots, the occasional shield, and sometimes a token. I haven't bought any covers yet, although I have been tempted by Human Torch, Lazy Thor, Lazy Cap, Daken, and OBW.

I spent USD33 when I bought Nick Fury's Doomsday Plan during a steam sale- that came with 8500HP and 25000iso. Bought some roster slots and boosted spider-man all the way up to 5 blue which helped me earn so many pve covers and to make my 3* transition. The iso didn't last long.

According to steam that's currently working out to approximately 4cents per hour.

^ for me it's 2 cents per hour...
  • Around 150-200$, which was a huge mistake. This game is all about spending time, real cash has very little value.

I tried logging in after not playing for around 2 months, and I was completely overwhelmed by how many new characters have been introduced (7*** and 1**** since the last ** (Ares) was introduced, I believe). If I wanted to catch up using $ I'd first have to somehow get 1/1/1 for each of those characters, and then drop obscene amounts of money to buy the remaining covers. You either play a lot and regularly or you are nothing in this game.

Money is only well spent on a few slots and shielding. Boosters are a waste of cash since *** chance is very low, and that's where all the new characters are. Buying covers is very expensive and requires you to own the first cover anyway. If you are a fan of spending money on F2P games like me, stay away from this one. If you don't mind grinding a ton, you will get rewarded eventually.

^ As if we couldn't guess lol. But thank you of course, it's people like you who support the game.
  • I've spent $25-30 in $5 increments. Most were at the beginning for slots. I was intending to throw the game a tip of a $5 purchase every month (or something similar); then the "every week there's a new awful feature" thing got instituted and I haven't really felt motivated to.

If they dropped community scaling entirely I'd make a point of putting some money into the game ASAP, though.

    $15

$10 on roster slots and $5 on my alliance spot.
  • $10 to expand my alliance some
  • $90 total, $30 of my own, $30 from gifted itunes and bestbuy giftcards (you can buy itunes giftcards at BBY!), and the last $30 right after a big win at the poker tables, so it didn't feel like it was my money.

Just hit my 100th day and haven't missed a day yet. Absolutely feels like I'm getting great value for the price, and they are great about pumping HP into the economy so I don't burn through my purchased HP too quickly. Still sitting on 4,500 HP from the last Asgard Treasure that I bought, and that was almost two months ago!
  • $2700 if you use my hour rate multiplied by the hours I've put into this game. Edit: and that's a conservative estimate.

or $0 for my account and about $75 on my son's account for hero points to buy a 10pack and some roster slots.
  • I havent spent any money but quite much time.
There should be a counter that shows you how many hours you have spent.
Many times I play same time as Im doing something else (watching tv, making food, eating alone, petting the cat, at boring lectures, waiting paint or papermache to dry, toilet, etc.)
