    I need to talk to the alliance about our future. In case anyone hasn’t noticed, recruiting has dried up across the board lately. The best we have seen lately has been 400-500 point players, which won’t exactly boost our rankings. With the future retirements at the end of this season, fielding two top 50 and one top 100 alliances is untenable, unless there is a surprise stash of 1K+ players hiding.

    As such, we are currently analyzing all our data this season. The minimums for U and State were 900, and Tech was 800. These minimums also are not enough for our placement, but were set as the threshold for the lowest scores. The players at the top have been around 2000 points, and have been the reason each alliance has been able to stay in top 100 at a minimum.

    We are losing some of this flexibility, and currently see no options to maintain all three alliances at status quo. Our proposed solution is to field two top 50 alliances, and a top 250 alliance. We would redistribute players to reach this goal. Several people have expressed a desire to drop from the 800 or 900 minimum. These players would gather in Tech which would become our casual / feeder alliance.

    From this alliance, our casual players would still get the benefits of the rewards associated with alliances. They would still be expected to play daily, and should be hitting a minimum of 500-600 per PvP, but would not have to stretch to the 800+ mark if they don’t desire. Those that like PvE can still grind, and still join Asylum for rewards at the end of events. Fisk will remain our retirement alliance, for those that intend to play DPD and only dabble in events.

    We will likely be recruiting for Tech as well, as a top 250 alliance. This is where the feeder part would come in. As we get openings in the Top 50 alliances, the people in Tech that have been developing have a chance to move up. For many, Tech will afford a chance to better their rosters and strategies with better rewards than Fisk provided. For new recruits, many may be on the cusp of being able to sustain 800+ but just need a bit more development. We would be able to take these people in and give them this chance instead of passing them up, providing future players. Many of our own started this way when we first opened State.

    Dormammu U and Dormammu State are both expected to be Top 50 alliances. Members have no stated minimum, with the expectation that everyone already exceeds the prior 900 minimum, most break 1K, and about ¾ break 1300. Dormammu Tech is now our Top 250, where daily play and participation in PvP is the expectation. Members should be scoring at least 500 per PvP. Tech is for people developing rosters, and those going casual for a bit. Fisk is for retiring members, people planning to skip events and dabble for a while. Fisk has no expectations, other than please leave Fisk if you uninstall the game.

    We are leaving one spot open in State. This will be used for anyone in Tech that tells us they need the alliance cover to help them develop. Start to move to the appropriate alliances, and if anyone has any questions or feels they should be somewhere else, feel free to message me.
