Ultron essential scaling

The scaling wouldn't be so bad if it was tied to the level of the person's roster, rather than a factor of 6 for everyone. My son has been playing for a little over a month, and was having a lot of fun with the event. He was really looking forward to getting the Deadpool cover, but the huge scaling from LVL 35 to LVL 220+ was way too much for his roster to handle. So now he's basically stopped playing the event, as there is very little chance he can beat a LVL 300 Ultron, and no way he'd be able to beat three 220+ Robots...let alone two waves of them.

Those of us in the alliance that can keep playing at this point are still doing so, but now it's down to about 6 or 7 people that can handle these robots. When 70% of an alliance stops playing after day 1 of a three day event, there's something wrong.

I am really happy the pitchforks have not came out yet. But seriously these
Events are not hard. To be honest I wish all pve events was locked in.
I don't care if another alliance is better. Good for them. The bottom
Line is to have fun in a game you enjoy. People complain about all the alliances that swap at the end of an event bring mercs in pushing you out of top. I am not against mercing because I have done it. But if all events are locked. Then I feel it
Would benefit all alliances in the long run and not cause so much Drama.
I know everyone wants to play and have a good time earn rewards. We all do.
So lock the events in. Your best in first. The rest in another. When they improve they can move up. But not before another event. Anyways that's my thoughts.
Less trouble for commander's and more fun for everyone.

No-one's really complaining about alliance competition or anything like that.
We're simply talking about how not-fun the scaling is. And this is only the first bump. The first bump takes us from ~60 to ~250, and there are two bumps to go. Most players will find the minion nodes end up being way harder and take far longer to beat than the boss itself.

And to what gain? If you're not fast enough, you get to suffer ridiiculous scaling. So...sucks to be you if you're not in a top 50 alliance, you get to have a rotten time and give up part way through an event. Who does that serve?

This isn't even a case of rich get richer. It's a time gate that locks out fun half way through the boss. The challenge of a boss event should be the boss itself, don't you think?

As others have said, and I've said it in the past too, it should come down to which round you're on. It makes no sense that a late joining alliance could start round 1 with level 300+ minions all because they joined late. Meanwhile a faster alliance can get to a much higher round before the scaling truely kicks in.

No-one here is arguing "It's not fair, everyone should be able to come in first place!", we're saying the scaling drains all the fun from the event VERY quickly. Pretty much every boss event my alliance has taken the last day off because fighting level 400+ minions simply isn't fun.

What's your son's roster like? The highest level sentry I have had to fight is 165 and I have just hit max personal progression.

Yes, it was a big increase between phases but I didn't experience this unbeatable scaling! Softcapping does pay off I guess

Wait. What is everyone talking about?

My alliance finished Round 8 with 39 hours left in the counter, and all the sub nodes I found in that round are lv 220-ish. The levels IIRC are not roster, but timer dependent. So how come some people get lv 300-ish nodes?

P.S. I want to post an SS of my final nodes but I don't know how.

The levels increase with time but are based on your personal scaling too.

Word. Around the 24 hour mark an alliance buddy said the scaling jumped to 200, I pointed out my scaling was up to 300 already...
