edited March 2017 in MtGPQ General Discussion
The minutiae have been and are being discussed in detail regarding the latest update. But what about overall? How is everyone feeling about the state and future direction of the game? I am interested to find out from this simple metric how positive or negative the recent changes have been experienced by the majority to get some perspective on the issue.

For me it's just the beginning of the end of this game.
There's less and less players so far and now they just removed the player counter on event to disable the possibility seeing the ice keeping turning into water ^^
I've already seen this changements in 2 other games that had only incidence of getting the game closed.
I was starring losing interest of the game but the announcement of the update was giving me some hope.
Well good job it turned this hope into boring again.

Can we also have some visibilite what is the persantage of active players who claim daily rewards ?
pretty sure since updates not many people will even bother to go to that screen to minimize time of this application wasting phone resources

EDIT: still zero positive votes, cant believe none of the administration team hasnt voted yet icon_e_biggrin.gif

Again, following the trend they have set. Corporate strategies to make people spend more $$$ for crystal/jewels. They say they address the issue of duplicate cards but that isn't really true. Especially when a player has a high percentage of cards already. The payouts in events have become something of a joke. You get less cards, less crystals and the jewels aren't even worth mentioning. How long will one have to save them to get to the ridiculous amount of 400?! All the more incentive to use $$$. The free player will cease to be competitive in due time. Many good games have gone down this path before and they're not around anymore to tell the tale. At least reduce the prices to make the low payout balance itself. Anyways no point ranting because D3 has a well defined business strategy that leaves opinions of players out of the loop as long as there are whales throwing hundred dollar bills at them.

Thanks Jetnoctis for taking this subtle approach to voice our discontent for the disrespect and disregards for the landslide majority of the player base. But i'm afraid they wont take heed to our pleas. The damage is done.

I saw someone say we should contact wizards. It is their IP that is being dumped on afterall. Judging by the fact Magic 2015 was the last stab at the mobile arena this is their area of exposure. Hell this game has made me interested in MTG, seems like it would be a good idea to keep this going.

Wow...25 negative votes so far. It doesnt take my specialized background in small business management to know d3 needs help.

Theres also a reason most small businesses fail in the first 5 years.

I would be hammering a white board with the feedback you are getting to turn this around,or be updating your resumes for a new job. I know you are working hard at managing collateral damage, but the next steps are critical. Hope you are aware of that.

Update 28 negative. 0 positive. Just saying.

I would encourage your coalitiona to come vote. 20 or 30 downvotes in the scheme of the entire playerbase would be nothing to hundreds of votes.

Honest votes though, I wouldnt hold it against anyone if they somehow thought it was moving in a good direction. Somehow I feel like votes will never surprise me again.

36 votes for the negative option in less than 2 hours.
0 for the positive so far.

These reliminary results suggest that there is little to no disunity in how players are perceiving the recent changes and how they feel about the future of MtGPQ. I believe this is interesting and worthy of note to both us and those in charge. However, we should wait for at least a couple of days to a week before drawing our final conclusions.

I must say in the whole history of the game most updates made me feel positive, and were promising a good future. I would have picked the first option in a poll like this most of the time. Now, the last update is different and looks like a clear change in direction of where the game is going.

There's still hope because lots of serious problems in the past got fixed, the devs always reacted to serious community outcry and the game had a solid record of getting better and better with time.

So let's hope this is not a trend reversal but a minor disturbance that we'll soon forget about.

Devs: can we please have a glimmer of hope?

My personal feeling is that this game is on the brink o failing as business. And they are taking actions to milk the cow as much they can.

The problem is that this actions are speeding up the death of the not much healthy cow they have

Ill be honest. I have never seen the number of people reading the forums, or commenting,as i have since this release. I have stopped playing to see where this goes.

My coalition mates are all ready to walk. Most dont read the forum, and i give them the updates.

I reiterate. These next few days to weeks will define the future,if any,for this game. Many are offering their livelihood expertise to help. Use it to make good changes.

Whoops, I clicked the wrong one by accident. Ignore a positive vote, I didn't mean to do that.

I was confused by the one positive vote, at least we know it was an error!

Just checked the recent reviews for the game in the Google Play Store. The last two days are mostly one star ratings with horrible reviews because of this update.

Well, we're up to 100 negative votes, and 1 positive that was in error.

At least it shows that positive votes are possible to get and it's not a broken poll causing the landslide outcome icon_e_biggrin.gif

Actually, I think the error might make the disparity hit all the harder. Like when you're a server and you don't get a tip, it hurts; but if you get a $.05 tip--it's a total insult because you know they didn't forget.

Here, its kinda like "We know it's not groupthink, because *somebody* disagreed--they are really making a point here".
