Will anyone tell us if we should be hoarding tokens?

I'm hoarding. Its times like these when I really miss the data miners who actually let us know what was coming like raisenbman with his spoiler threads. At least we got info and we weren't just subject to the devs completely hostile views on communication.

You should pretty much always hoard. Unless they drastically change things and make hoarding terrible, it's better to hoard.

Hoard avoids the problem of tokens expiring. If you open 4 tokens and get 4 4*s, you won't have time to get all 4000 hero points (at my level it's 1000 hero points per slot). You would have to sell existing covers, or spend $$$ to buy hero points to buy slots.

Another reason is that Taco vault have hero points and medpacks in them. If you are really in a pinch with an event, you can open Tacos to possibly get what you need. I just did but I didn't get any healthpacks for PvP.

I realized hoarding is very good once I understood I rather keep covers than selling them for isos.

I have around 300-400 unopened tokens, even tokens from events they probably don't run anymore.

As long as a player has patience, hoarding is the right thing to do.
