Luke Cage 3, Iron Fist, and Magneto 3 has been my TBE team for over a year, and I see no reason to change now.

I was using 3* Bullseye every day but I will probably use him less often now; with fewer enemies it's harder to reliably get his strike tiles out.

OML, IM40, Steve R. SS. OML tanks everything but blue. Get yellow, Recharge, board control with shields. Team rarely fails, though the occasional spectacular cascade or yellow drought can ruin it.

Switch out Mags for Falcon and that's my team. Lots of tiles for Falcon to boost and you don't take much dmg once that protect tile gets boosted a few times. Fun team to use in Sim too if you're still in the 2-3* stage.

Have been using OML, Bobby and IM40. Will stick with it for now.

My old enchilada team still works for the new format. Blade, 3* Luke Cage, Groot. Luke's protect keeps everyone safe while Blade churns out special tiles. Very rarely does anyone get below 75% health. Once Blade gets his purple off, it's pretty much one enemy down every turn.

I loved 3* bullseye in the old TBE. I would mentally track how many kills he was responsible for, and most often, if he got the first 2 kills, then he would easily roll on and then be responsible for the first 8 or 9 kills. so much fun.

I would also announce in my head, in an NBA JAM kind of way... "he's heating up!!!" .....

My go-to was Thor/MNMags/CStorm, but that takes a while to get started and works better with multiple waves rather than one wave with more than 3 opponents. I'm going to need to experiment with some other teams. Maybe KK, IM40 and either Strang3 or Dak3n...

My TBE team for a long time has been OML, Nova, and Star-Lord, but they usually take a round or two to ramp up (and then plow through the remaining 2-3 rounds, effortlessly).

They work just fine with the new format, but they now feel slow.

I think I'll be experimenting with a new team over the coming days/weeks until I find another sweet spot group.

Still using the same old team...3* Blade, 3* Cap, and 3* Hulk. It takes a wave for someone to get going, so I might be switching it up in the near future. I handled yesterday's run pretty easily, but depending on the wave line-up, I could see running into a problem.

I used 3 strange champed, my 5 star Thanos with 2 black and my 5 star BP with 2 red. It was hilariously good times. didn't take much damage either.

Match damage to whittle them down. Goon throws a tile, Strange 3 hits them with Flammable Saltines, which downs them, triggers court death which then stuns BP for a turn which he then lashes out for 2.9k damage. Rinse and repeat

Very quick match. Got to use court death twice in a turn (Strange kills....CD leaves minimal health....the match3 kills him....poof 4 down one turn

3* Bullseye still works! After the first day, I realized that my previous TBE team of Bullseye, Psylocke, and Beast is still as effective as before, i.e. I still fill the board with strikes within the first ~6 enemies.

EDIT: lol seeing as there are only 6 total enemies, that doesn't say much, but I've usually been able to get strikes after the fourth enemy shows up, and continue to do so now.

I'll be switching around. My original go-to has been mentioned, Cage-IF-Falcon, and I would later switch it up to Cage-3*Mags-SWitch.

I finally got my Strang3 champed, so for the past couple weeks I had been using Patch-Strang3-Cage. Works just fine, but with less goons and powers firing, Strang3 doesn't clear them out quite as fast. I'm hesitant to throw out Patch's green or red until I know I can match some of the enemy tiles away or use Strang3's purple, but by that point I've slowly whittled the enemy team down on match damage and other powers.

My 3* Thanos is only at 2/4/2, but once he is champed, or more in black, I do like the sound of getting him in there.

Starlord, Invisible Woman, 3 Strange.

IM-40, IF and R&G all champed. Get IM-40 yellow, R&G strikes and IF punch, never fails.

I am quite liking Nova, Medusa and 3* Strange, cheap powers and passives keeps the opposing team from building up too much AP for the non-goon opponents.

Have been using IM40, Super Steve and GSBW. Would definitely like to play around with some other teams though, I don't make the most of my roster enough at the moment
