The NEW Big Enchilada- Team Composition

(First of all, a friendly note to the mods: I'm hoping this can exist as its own thread even though it is related to the new DPDQ--that I know has its own active thread.)

I know that a bunch of players like trying new team combos out during DPDQ, particularly TBE. However, there are those of us that found a great team and stick to it, time and again.
When I was in 2* land, it was some flavor of Stormneto (with either Thor or OBW as the third).
As I progressed to 3* and past, my go to became GSBW, BP, and 3Cap. It's been that to this day.
Now the format of our favorite wave node has changed. (This is not the place for discussions to that though. Make the mods happy and use the main thread for discussion regarding the changes)

What I want to know is: are people still using their same ol' team, or have they changed to new ones since the format's a bit different? I'm still using my same team, mainly out of habit. I know it's a bit early since the change is so recent, but I figured we could get the conversation started...

I like using OML plus two of my 4*s that are only at Lv 70. The OML does most of the work, but I get to experiment with some newer characters.

I'm probably going to rethink my standard team as it's more designed for long waves.

My old team was Ant-Man, Doc Ock, and Strange. It still works fine, but now rather than being slow to start quick to finish it's just slow.

So far I stuck with my go to 3* team, Thor, Blade and Strange. They mop the place up and dump out the dirty water.

I used to use IM40/Rogers/Kamala for TBE most every day, but the single wave of six characters seems fundamentally different from the four waves of three, so I've been trying new teams, so far.

I used Team Twilight (SW, Beast, Blade). This was the first time in a long time that they suffered mass damage.. like half their health! Normally I finish at nearly full health. I have been using this team for nearly 2-years. I'll see how it goes but I will likely need to switch my team.

Edit: Seems it will start with one active and two goons followed by three more actives. Guess I'll just use Strange and let the Goons do all the work for me.

I used to use X-force Wolverine, Daken and 3-star Deadpool to build up my Deadpool Points. Worked very well since I could just Whale the later Waves. With the current setup I may have to come up with something different though...

With the one long wave I find either Thanos works great. token_legendary.png Thanos only has 2 black so he is dealing 2K per Court Death, which along with strang3 moves things along without much team damage.

If I want to hurry though and don't care about health packs, star.pngstar.pngstar.png Thanos deals 4K+ and wipes them out a few at a time.

Falcon, Blade and Strange seems to work pretty well

I discovered that after defeating the first enemy, the next one comes out before Thanos' black passive triggers, so it hit three enemies. Four down for the price of one... only two to go.

So my new go-to team is Thanos/X/X

I used Charlie's Angels for almost a year, starting probably in February of last year, mostly to minimize the amount of damage anyone on my roster would take. The Angels would get through the entire Enchilada unscathed if the first wave was all goons, and even sometimes if there was a mover in wave 1 and multiple match-5s.

I recently champed Charlie though, so that's out. I've been sticking with Hulkbuster, Star-Lord, and Teen Jean, and they wrecked the new Big Enchilada yesterday. T'Challa didn't know what hit him after he came out...

3* Blade, Daken, and Thor suffered more damage today in the new format than they ever did in the 4-wave setup. By the time I had six red strikes and enough purple AP to make the most of Blade's awesome attack tiles, I didn't need to use it because Call the Storm finished the fight. Yesterday was pretty poor for those three as well.

Definitely going to need to try some new teams.

My old go-to team was Patch, Bullseye, Panther. AKA 'Abilities? Bah, who needs abilities. We'll just strike.png waves 1-3 to death, then one quick AOE at the end to finish.'

Lately I'd moved on to Inv.Woman, Strange, Cyclops. Full rainbow, free damage & (burst) healing, and Sue's strike.png aren't bad actually. Strange melts goons when those are on the board, and Sue's green or Cyke's black nukes anyone else. That team worked well enough yesterday.

I was using Nova-PX-and any blue green (WM, IW, 4Pun, Quake), but now I may just run through with 3Thanos and whatever I feel like using. Court Death is way more effective on a 6-man node than 4x3.

I regularly use my 5* Thanos for lots of things.

I realized early on that I should just use my legion of 70's and 40's to fill out the team. I don't use them for fights anyways, so they might as well serve a purpose and die with the other of the ants before the might of Thanos.

I'm on board the OML/3nos bandwagon. The enemies die too fast to really do much experimenting.

I was and still am using Patch+Loki+5trange. The right combo of green and black makes 5trange's yellow hit hard and also negates pretty much all damage. There wasn't a lot of black on the board today so I took more damage than usual. Thinking about switching it up and might give OML+Thanos a try, especially since Court Death also hits the newcomer.

My go-to team is still the same: icon_captainamerica.png , icon_humantorch.png and icon_daredevil.png. This team allows me to beat it a first time and keep on the good work since I had only three star.pngstar.pngstar.png champions (they were the first).
It is a full color coverage. You can overwrite special tiles with icon_captainamerica.pngredflag.png and blueflag.png , do damage from enemy special tiles with icon_daredevil.pngpurpleflag.png , you have access to stun ability and also damage over time with icon_humantorch.pnggreenflag.png and blackflag.png.
I like it and I don't think I will change it for a while.
