    C.mags purple is one of the easiest, most reliable cover to attain. Not sure why you'd spend HP on it unless you're really desperate.

    This. I recently invested in Lazy Thor yellow & green. He's not likely to get nerfed (unlike Spidey & Mags) & he is dominant in pvp. I might consider Captain America red in the future. I have a feeling that Lazy characters won't be be seen very often as tournament rewards.

    Hulk Black would be more interesting if he healed faster out of battle. As it is now, he needs to take damage for the skill to be useful, and a hurt Hulk can take 12 hours to fully heal outside of battle. The AI can't screw this one up, making it almost unique for the skills listed here -- BP's Black being the other.

    Hood's Yellow generates 18 AP and removes 2 chosen 3x3 squares of tiles, which is usually enough to eliminate at least two pesky enemy tiles, while generating at least 3-6 AP of any needed color. The AI doesn't use this skill well.

    Im quite surprised as previously mentioned by others that patch and panther arent mentioned at all on this since both seem to be pretty top tier these days.

    Love hearing what people have to say. Debating what covers are HP worthy gives an interesting view into what people consider powerful, and what they use (not necessarily the same as enjoy though).

    Yeah, I added BP black (edit: it was on original list) as it seemed like one that people really love. C.mag purple was there as it seems people arent patient enough to get it, even though its fairly available. Patch...would have made my list as I was mostly offline for TAT, but people who participated (and have the HP to spend) pretty easily covered him. I debated about adding LThor and LCap blue, but really felt like those are new enough that most people wouldnt consider them HP worthy yet.

    Panther's black ability makes him a beast. Not as good as GSBW's green, but his health makes him so much more viable. I like his yellow ability too - gives me a use for environment tiles when I don't care about 50-health hot dogs or latverian strike tiles that do 3 damage.

    Love Hulk's black too. Yeah you have to take damage for it to work, but in PvP it's pretty hard NOT to take some damage.
