Mostly just curious where people would put their HP these days. Feel free to add text responses below and Ill update.

    I don't think any of the other options come close to the power that is C. Mags / Spidey blue.

    I'd buy alliance slots.

    Yellow spidey has evaded me completely.

    As of right now, nothing provides better value than alliance slots. A large alliance hands you at least 3 covers a week, plus HP and at least 4000 ISO. That's nothing compared to the price of a specific 3* cover.

    Spidey blue gets boring, even though it's very powerful. Mag's blue is always fun, and has turned a game around for me many times. But I like all of these skills, with Cap Red & Blue being current favorites.

    I purchased Spidey blue in the past, and it changed the game for me, so that would still be my #1.

    I have gotten lucky and have C Mag 5-covered for blue without purchase, otherwise I think that would be a wise investment as well.

    The only other cover I've purchased is Hood to 4 blue. I'm holding off on getting him to 5-blue and hoping to get lucky with a cover...he's low level atm and in the queue a ways for levelling. If, however, I don't get a 5th blue for him by the time I soft-cap him, I'll consider purchasing it.

    Other good skills to purchase imo would be Lazy Thor yellow and Black Panther black.

    Yeah Thor green and yellow have both been well worth it for me. Hood blue is a good use his yellow is not. I've thought about cap red and blue or something for torch but I guess I'm waiting on more information right now although I do want the new cap maxed at some point since I think he will be a dominant pve character.

    I had Spidey at 4 blue for a long time, mostly (entirely?) through sheer luck. I was already happy with 3 AP stuns, I didn't realise how much of a difference 1 AP would make. Ended up buying that last cover during TaT and it has been entirely worth it.

    I've actually not used Spidey since then very much until the current GSBW tournament - my BW is fairly low level, so Spidey covers 2/3 colours for her.

    My Hood is currently at 4 Yellow, and while a 5th would be fantastic, I don't think it'll have quite the same return as that Spidey cover.

    I've also bought a Yellow Patch cover to finish my build. I had softcapped, it was also needed so I could finish levelling. Patch is my first 141, so I see that as a good investment as well.

    Edit: Ah, but the question is "If I had 2500 HP which would I invest in?" that's a bit diferent. Spidey is covered already. My Hulk is currently 5/3/3, so I think I'd probably buy the 2 black covers I need to finish him off.

    Voted for the two blacks but only because I already have the blues maxed. Where are LT and HT?

    Agreed. If you're only going to list one Hood color, it should definitely be blue. The fifth yellow is important, but the third and fifth blue are both massive upgrades in Hood's utility.

    They may be more important, but I'd rank cmag's red and hood's yellow as a much better investment, because getting top 8 in LR is...feasible, but getting top 2 is an exercise in frustration and who can tank better

    There's no secret to tanking, it just requires time and patience, but if you hit a certain threshold in any PvP event it doesn't matter if you have tanked or not, you will still see the toughest bunch.

    With some good tanking, Top25 in a Hood round is very doable, especially if you can pick a time with lower activity. That's why I would never suggest anyone spend HP on Hood's blue; same for mags purple.

    LT = Lazy Thor, HT = Human Torch.

    And you're definitely right Lazy Thor should be in the list. I wouldn't hesitate a moment if I had to choose two skills to upgrade for free - LT would be the one to go with. That is, provided I had my alliance fully upgraded, now I need two more slots to get to twenty, so I'd probably spend the HP there. But I guess that's not the point of the poll.

    Fortunately, I'm not, my teammates contributed too. I bought a few expansion slots, but lately we've been essentially a pay-to-enter type. That said, I would undoubtedly invest 2500 HP in expansion, not in any skill, if I had a choice.

    I'm surprised Patch green and Red aren't up there. Those are the 2 that I would most likely go for. My spidey is at 5/4/4, but my CMags is 1/1/1. Dumping HP into him right now would be pointless.

    If someone just handed me 2500, I'd go for either Psylocke (hopefully 3/1/4 after getting 3 covers from the BW tourney) or Human Torch (1/1/1). They seem like fun characters and I'd love to get them up in levels a bit. But if I had to pay for the HP, I'd probably up my Patch (3/1/3) or one each in Hood's yellow and blue (4/1/3).

    I voted Hood yellow and Hulk black (just b/c he's at 4 black right now), but I'm pretty sure the Hulk vote is just filler material for me right now.

    It's simple IMO what skills to potentially bump with HP. If all you get is damage increase, like L.Thor Red then I would hold off, but if it actually increases the strength of the ability by others means, like Hood's Blue or Yellow, or AP reduction, those are the ones that I would rather do it with. Look at new Cap, the higher you go with red and yellow the more versitile the skill becomes.
