    Kaladesh needs more "double-duty" cards, like ones that both energize per turn and have better overload effects. Like, deadlock trap is great when you have a lot of energy on the board, but it also can generate some energy when played. It would be so much better if it generated energy every turn... I would happily pay a higher casting cost for a better card. Same with decoction module. Such a niche card, if it gave you a secondary benefit on casting, such as or fabricate 1 or whatever, it would be a much more viable card on its own.

    Also, setting up energize with what? Empyreal Voyageur? Problem is, you pay 16 mana to drop a 3/4 creature, but the AI can just remove him with any of the direct removal spells that have filled up while waiting for you to drop your "threat". Then you're stuck, because you were relying on him to energize the board.

    Do you have glimmer of genius, decoction module or attune with aether?

    Those were my mvp cards this event.

    Honestly, I only switched out one card in one of my decks to have a chance at the 5 energy.
    I'm using Saheeli in my red slot so no issues with energy there.

    But with them REQUIRING Dovin for one of the slots... why go out of my way? I'd have to win almost every point I could to get to the final milestone since I don't have Dovin and I'm not even remotely interested in purchasing him.

    Especially since most of his power comes with cards from the new set. The set I purchased 14 packs off immediately after it was released and was rewarded with 1 rare... in 14 packs... 1 rare!

    And then the reward for the final milestone isn't even a pack from the new set unless you're at the platinum level?

    I don't know... this game is quickly moving from a "pay to win" game to a "pay to not suck" game.
    Combine that with the horrible performance after the latest update.
    And the bugs we run into after every update (really hating the captain's claws bug)...
    I may be bowing out if it doesn't start trending back in the right direction.
