New gem board

The snowy gems... that's why they changed the look of the gems back in 1.7, right?
In September?0 -

Thanks for pointing this. I can't play more than one round without taking a break. When I started yesterday and did around 4 (squinting) I started to develop an aura -- which is a migraine indicator.0 -
I'm blinded after 1 game lol.
Introduce an option for deactivate this new graphic.0 -
I actually quite like the blue UI.
I don't like the snow on the gems though. It makes it hard to see what colour they are. Especially blue and black are virtually indistinguishable now.
And obviously material/flat design is a horrible pile of rubbish UI that should be banished from the world. I can't believe people think a blocky white icon is better than a rich textured coloured icon. This isn't the 70s! But sadly D3 are only following everyone else (Microsoft, Google etc) with this horrible UI trend.
By far more important though is the bugs about not being able to see what supports are, and Clues not working.0 -
I disagree. being able to visually comfortably play
the game is more important to me.
the broken supports add a crazy 'break this support
for a random outcome'. it makes the game harder
but can still be enjoyable.

Would like the option to change the bg color or remove the frost effect too. It's the combination of blue background+frost+energize that makes it difficult for me to enjoy the update.0
-
Well I don't know about all you guys but I kinda like the new blue background and update. Look very new and fresh.
The only draw back is that it loads very slow and the dashboard is a bit glitchy but otherwise nice.
Still was bad luck with the RNG though.0 -
The blue design is horrible. It's difficult to discern the gems and a bit taxing. I find my self with headaches after playing0

Oh you are totally right. Im a UX designer and that was the first things to jump out at me. I get their thought process on the holiday theme idea, but that "cool" color and new energy effect is too high contrast on the eyes. They even need to tweak the effect treatment of the energy charged gems to make the mana it charging more readable.0 -
Repost from Suggestions/Feedback:
I just did the Torrential Gearhulk fight with the current graphics settings on my phone. It's not the best phone in the world, but it's current enough that the gem graphics shouldn't be completely lagging out my phone.
I found a MAJOR ISSUE with combination of the theme, energized gems and the fabricate servo supports.
It took me at least twice as long as it should have to run the fight because of the graphical load all the different elements were placing on my phone.
At one point, torrential confiscated my 20+ It that Rides as one. I was severely concerned that my game had crashed as it was repeating the same popcorn/zig zag animation over and over. Turns out, it was just trying to process the 10+ fabricate buff triggers that were now stacked up.
Something needs to be done about the graphical load on this game. Steps 1, 2 and 3 should be as follows:
1) Make the energy gem indicator a static overlay
2) Change the Servo Support to a single support with +X/+X, where X = the number of shields on the support
3) Option to turn off theme settings0 -

As someone who pulled Marionette Master, I would say no to this change. Every time someone blows up one of my servos, I get to do direct damage, plus it let's me save some of them when someone casts Conclave Naturalists, Demolish, Mockery of Nature, Fragmentize....0 -

You have a point, but in the app's current state, something needs to change. It's rapidly approaching unplayable due to technical issues on top of the visual ones.0 -
This is not a rare occurrence for me. Was this what the devs had in mind visually?? I hope not.

You need to put a migraine warning on that link.
I'm glad the community manager has finally seen at least /one/ of the threads regarding this stupid gem board. Here's hoping for toggles and an energy icon change soon.0 -

This game should come with a migraine warning0
