That's a shame.
I see we are at 10/11 members now and inside the top 200 in the ISO-8 event.0 -
Looks like we lost another member
I think this might be a problem until we have in game chat and such
Good news, we are 189 in the ISO event and 245 in Fearless Defenders0 -
and just like that we are back up to 10 again!
Welcome to Kithgar who I believe is our newest member.0 -
And we finished top 250 for the Fearless Defenders event
another 50 HP to everyone
And if Kithgar is on the forum, welcome0 -
So the Best there is Event allows us the ability to win more Steve Rogers covers
Top 50 solo or top 100 for Alliance.
Anyone going to make a run of it ?0 -
I will definitely be aiming for top 10 to pick up 2 more Cap covers. I don't know if we have the numbers yet to get a top 100 finish.0
-
I top 10'd the Fearless Defenders! Hopefully my tanking in the LRs will make it so I can top 10, or at least 50, the wolvie event too. Might need to pump all my iso into my A.Wolvie though (max covered but just lvl 65). I'll do my usual and start in another day or so. I got right to 600 as the event ended, so I'd say maybe I'm good for about the same so long as my MMR hasn't gone up too much.0
-
And welcome Dhaden (Meto5000 on the forums) as our 11th member0
-
We are full up now which is good. Let me know if you want me to purchase the next slot.0

Sounds Good - you have been commander access
BTW - if anyone you want to share your Facebook info we can share gifts0 -
Cheers, 12th slot purchased. Looks like some alliance features coming in the r50 update.0
-
Excellent..lets start the look for member 12
Currently we are 174 for the ISO event and 233 for Best There is but many of us having really hit it much. I've only tossed in the odd match to get over 100 points0 -
So the highlights of R50
Alliances
- S.H.I.E.L.D. code hackers have subverted a portion of H.A.M.M.E.R. communications frequencies that have enabled them to allow Agents that are in Alliances to talk directly to one another. Alliance Chat may be accessed from within the Alliance tab.
- Alliance Leaderboards now occupy their own tab instead of using multiple taps to get there.
- S.H.I.E.L.D. has improved their Alliance member tracking technology and now allows members to view the individual Event scores within an Alliance.
- The top three Alliance players in an Event are indicated by trophies next to their names on the Alliance Leaderboards. S.H.I.E.L.D. congratulates the top performers!
My Take
- In Game Chat is a no brainer. we all knew it was coming
- The ability to see Individual Event scores also was a known thing to come. it was an easy upgrade
- The Trophies are a nice touch. sounds like they are only going to be active during an event and not stored a list of accomplishments. Too bad for that cause bragging points are always fun0 -
Hey all, glad to be here. Looking forward to the chat room adding a bit more community feel to the game.
Is there a cost guide for purchasing new slots?0 -
Welcome Meto5000.
I paid 1200 for the 12th slot. I goes up by 100 for each extra slot.0 -
HP I assume?0
-
Nice to see in game chat - more convenient than having to manage it one the forums. We seem to be holding our own in this event to score a Human Torch cover which is great. I have fond this event easier to stay in the top than the last. I have usually been ~top 10 when the new missions start. I will say, the red ISO values seem very low, though, which means that I don't know if it will even be possible to get some of the higher progression rewards like the Cap covers I am missing.0
-
Yes HP for alliance slots.
My position is fluctuating a huge amount in this event due to the rubberbanding. I have only been doing 2 run throughs per day. I assume the points are going to scale up, as they usually do, otherwise as you said we will have no chance at the Cap covers. It will be more important how much and when you play later in the event.
I haven't touched the best there is event yet.0 -
Yeah there is a lot of talk over in the event thread about the progression rewards being out of reach. They are speculating that after this round the point totals will increase for the next few rounds. I've also found it pretty easy to stay at/near the top. Every 12 hours or so I'm around the 150 range, clear the nodes once or twice and jump right back into the top 5 or 10. Rinse, repeat. Hopefully it doesn't get crazy with huge rubberbanding near the end. Either way I'd really love to get an extra cap cover or two as well since I only have the one we got in the alliance rewards for the Simulator.
Silver lining is with a few choice pulls from standard and event tokens and the OBW covers I got from the Simulator my OBW is now maxed (albeit 5/5/3) so time to start pumping iso into her. Problem is I still have A.Wolvie (5/5/3) at 71, C.Storm (5/3/5) at 80, and Lazy Thor at 75 (soft cap at 99) to go with the OBW who is only at 45, so I've got to decide who to level first. Any thoughts from the MPQ veterans here? I also have a lvl 85 2* Thor, a lvl 50 max covered Cap (no thanks), and a lvl 24 3/3/5 MNmags in case that makes a difference (i.e. probably don't need to level 3* Thor yet with the already maxed 2* version being about as good).
Also haven't touched the best there is yet, but might start that soon since I don't plan on doing Iso event for a few more hours. I'm gonna assume top 50 is a bit out of reach for us, but at least should be able to pick up some HP and hopefully some Cap covers in the individual side.0 -

LazyThor is flat amazing; his damage output at max level is roughly double that of 2* Thor. Mine is only level ~120 and already has 7,500 hp. He's the only 3* I put serious effort into leveling and even used HP to max his covers. I don't really need any other offense now and typically win most fights (PvE or PvP) with him, 85 OBM (3/5/5/) and (insert buffed character of the day here). OBW is amazing for stealing AP, does good damage with her auto attacks, and keeps me from using many health packs. She's also handy in a pinch when used to increase the timer on enemy countdowns. With a maxed purple MN Mags level 35 feeding her blue, even 230 thugs are no problem.
I'm not sure who my third character will be after I finish leveling LazyThor, probably either Psylocke or the Hood, but if there is a LazyDaken I will almost definitely be pushing for him. At max Level a 115 Daken will tank green and black, while still letting OBW get crazy strike tile damage from blue and purple. Green matches beget strike tiles which feed black widow attacks, and push towards Call of The Storm. An opponent who tries to deny you green will just end up getting themselves killed. There's no active black skill in this matchup but I don't think it would be a problem.
Edit: Also, there's no overlap for active powers at all so your defense will be pretty strong - yes OBW gets targeted first but you've got two huge tanks in the background and one is full of nukes. Thor is always using his damage powers, and you're always stealing and healing with OBW.0
