Your suggestion for Balance of Power team?

I know some people may not care about this event, but I think it's fun to come up with new teams to fight with. I would like to here your suggestions, mine are below. The real question here is what team is both good for offense AND automated defense?

3*Luke Cage - Iron Fist - Hood: provides control and steady damage, annoying to play against

3*Luke Cage - Iron Fist - Star Lord: produce lots of black with IF and then punch/stun forever, annoying to play against

ProfX - GSBW - Switch: Easy to win, but also easy to defeat; probably makes you a target?

Patch - 3*Daken - Loki/Spiderman: Good for saving health packs, but needs certain colors to work, not intimidating?

XFW - 3*Magneto - Loki: Endless board cycling once it gets going, but may not be intimidating?

3*Deadpool - Cyclops - Switch: Generate lots of red to Slice, then finish with Whales, probably not intimidating?

Juggernaut - Cyclops - StarLord: Generate lots of red to Headbutt for just 4 AP, other powers are cheap too and Jugs has 180K health!

I'd hit that the all day especially since I'd get a chance at a deadpool team up. Yeah my alliance doesn't realize that the best teamup to send is deadpool whales so I never get them.

I just go with reliable XFW, XFDP, Hood.

Saves heaps on health packs, and all of Deadpool's abilies pack a punch, so on defence it will probably cost you a health pack.

And the CDFW - SS combo is normally good for downing two opponents, so it's quick offence.

Great thing about BOP is trying out my different teams.
    4clops, Kate bishop, IM40
    War machine with OML
Venom, carnage, nova or Mr F.
    Miles morales, spidergwen, BSSB
Winter soldier with IM40 is one of my favorites in BOP
XFDP, Thing, Peggy carter. This might be my defensive team even though Peggy only has 12 covers.

I've been running im40, iceman and star lord. It's decently fast with good control and I seem to have a fair number of defense wins.

Just started now with Juggs, IM40 and KK.

30K headbutts, KK heals half of the self-damage. Maximum trollage.

I was going to skip this event, but I got seed teams, so was sucked in.

I've experimented a little with Peggy, (3* 3/5/4) Dr Strange, a third, but sod it, if I do play this seriously I'll just break out Gamora, IM40, 4* Thor. Recharge, Bash Heads, Power Surge the last man standing, then mop up. Not the most fun team to play, but gets the job done.

(I'm re-posting this from another thread)

I'm rolling with Juggs, 3cage, and 3strange. This team is badass.

Juggernaut - 170k health, his red hits for 30k, his green is there for a board shaker, and he'll tank black.

Luke Cage (3/5/5) - Red at 5 is mandatory as his defense tile will soak up all match damage which is a major asset in longer BoP matches. I put his black at 5 over yellow because I seem to get it off more often and it has a stun. Both yellow and black hit pretty hard in BoP.

Dr. Strange (5/3/5) - His yellow pops for 15k damage, and his blue does about the same each round the special tile is active (plus another stun). Purple is gravy in case I'm fighting any tilers.

(I realize not a lot of people have a usable Dr. Strange yet but Doom is a great fill-in. His purple is an absolute atom bomb and his blue feeds cage's black nicely)

    4thor/cho/switch

Lots of stun, lots of charged tiles, and countdown tiles

For offense: Peggy plus any 2 other characters
For defense: Peggy plus any 2 other characters

    Seriously. Peggy's scaling is amazing.
Her red at 3 covers does 23,706. At 5 covers she does 55,702 damage.
Her blue at 3 covers does 7,743 damage per count down tile. At 5 covers, it does 43,779 damage per cd tile.

Teen Jean purple does 32,011 AoE and her green does 27,844 AoE damage plus 4 strike/attack/protect tiles with strength of 1,409.

Iceman blue stuns for 4 turns then deals 65,516 damage at 5 covers. Green does 25,015 + 2,222 per blue tile on the board AoE damage at 5 covers.

Also, Strang3 is great too. His blue at 5 covers stuns for 3 turns and does 15,185 damage each turn. His yellow at 5 covers does 14,711 damage and heals team for 3,097.

And 4clops. His red at 5 covers with 10 team up Ap does 97,523 damage for 10 red Ap. His blue does 25,608 plus gains red Ap from a 5x5 block.

Ares has 121,499 health and does 2,785 per green Ap. He does a total of 35,736 with his yellow.

3clops red does 36,694 and his black does 49,135 damage. Or, with enough red on the board, his black does 69,969.

So for 3* rosters, I'd say to definitely use 3clops if you have him.
For 4* rosters, I would say Peggy and Teen Jean or Rulk with IM40 as a 3rd.

I used IM starlord iceman for offense. Starlord could neutralize Peggy yellow passive. This is my only team to win Peggy

For defense team, I would suggest XDP thing and Peggy. But my Peggy is not full covers now. So I changed Peggy to ghost rider. XDP, thing and GR could work well. Once GR keep alive, his black would be one shot kill , no matter 2,3,4,5 star characters

Peggy (spec 5\3\5) & im40 any 3rd character but with no active yellow ability. Edit- no active blue or red if you can help it...like moon knight

    No other team comes close.

I've been rolling Peggy with Hood/XFDP/XFW and Iceman/IM40/SL.

Bear in mind that once you stun Peggy her +X to costs goes away.

Peggy ice im40. No point in using any other team haha... recharge, peggy stun, wipeout. Wait for countdowns to resolve. Rinse repeat

Based on what I have available:

    Offense - KK/IM40/Vision (;])
KK (3/5/5) - maximum green generated from purple
    IM40 (3/5/5) - you won't use his red
    Vision (5/5/3)

Match yellow, recharge, Kamala's green, Density: Heavy, Heavy strike, repeat
Vision with Denisty: Heavy matches tiles for ~8k damage

    Defense:
    IF, Cage, SWitch

Will probably use my Sim team. Kamala, IM40, Ragnarok. after one Recharge and some more matches, Ragnarok will turn the green tiles to charged tiles, most other tiles to blue, and then Kamala will turn the blue tiles next to charged tiles to green, and then strike hard one or two times with Embiggened Bash. It's at this point that IM40 wakes up and notices he missed all the fun.

Been using only 4Cyc, Teen Jean and IM40 with excellent results. Even against peggy, once IM40 gets off his yellow she goes down really fast, and against RH I always combine all my moves from Cyke and Jean for huge damage and end with a Jean purple to let him only have 1 CD to reduce cascades. Haven't found anyone that has given me trouble when my team is more than half max HP.

IM40, Ironfist and Silver surfer? Sounds fun, might try laters.
