Hey folks. Coefficient just told me about the thread.

I shielded too low in the Wolverine event and dropped from 8 down to 14th But, I'm sitting at 31k in Unstable ISO-8 and hope to end up top 10 in the First Avenger event. I just bought the last cover for my Doom so all my ISO-8 is going towards him.

I'm using a dummy facebook account "Ranier McBain" to friend MPQ folks if you need another to trade rewards with.

Having to go out earlier this morning messed up the refreshes quite a bit for me. I'm currently at 32k and sitting at #2 (was #1 but another person decided to start pushing a bit as I stopped) but I doubt that would be my final spot.

Welcome SquallTiofae! New nodes are up and I'm up to #9 for now. They are thinking this is going to be the last stack of nodes so I'm going to try and time my refreshes so I can clear as much as possible around my work schedule. I got beaten on a lot in the Cap event so I have some work to put in tonight to try and get a GSBW cover. Mine is sitting on 1/0/0 so the loaner will probably be better at this rate when Hollowpoint starts lol.

Welcome, SquallTiofae! His skills do look interesting but he doesn't play really well with others (though that is rather fitting for the Torch). I'm thinking he might be able to replace Punisher or maybe even pair nicely with him. Punisher throws out the strike tiles while the Torch generates attack tiles.

This has to be the last stack of nodes unless we're looking at 2 stacks of 18 hour nodes. I will say this is a pretty crazy pve event, I've completely no idea where I would end up at, I've seen multiple different sets of top 10 so far and my rank has ranged from #1 (where I try to end my day at) to over 100+.

I'm a bit behind pvp-wise though, just gone past 200 and will try to put in a bit more battling when I wake up later. Off to bed for now.

Might have focused a bit too much on the PvP today. Currently sitting at 585 and #6 in my bracket. Shielded to 10 minutes before the end of the event so I can make a push and break 600. In the meantime, I need to work on the PvE event as I fell from 5 to 125 today

Managed to reach 475 for pvp which should get me top 50. And last I saw, our alliance ranking was at around 89, so we should be getting that cover as well.

I shielded earlier at 537 and was watching the board to see if I wanted to make a run for top 25. It ended up being too risky but I will happily pay 25hp for a 3* cover Just make my clears on the Iso nodes and sit in 1st with 44.6k. I will try and clear them again on lunch break and should be in good shape for the late night push. Looks like the Widow pvp is going to be full with the covers they are giving away. Psy and a green widow progression. I will jump in tomorrow or at least when the Iso event is done, my widow needs help lol.

Good job on the Cap PvP event folks! I was able to snag a top 10 finish @ 743 pts so my GSBW isn't quite so pathetic for this round of PvP.

I think I may have messed up on the PVE. I didn't really have much of a chance to play yesterday. The hour I did play was all PVP (shielded at 7 but ended up 12). I woke up this morning being the lowest I've been all tournament, around 350. The deadly Bullseye/Daken fight is worth some decent points but both times I tried it today I came up short. The way it's looking, I'm probably not going to get top 50 which is pretty frustrating...

But in other news, the R50 patch seems pretty cool. The chat is a nice addition and I love the tabs they added for the rewards.

Every time I try it I tell myself that is my last attempt but I keep going back for more... I've gotten closest with Original Black Widow, Thor and Storm. My Hulk is missing black and my Patch is missing red so I haven't used them much this event.

I manage (with some boosting) with Original BW and Classic Storm backed up by the tank of your choice (for me Ares or Iron Man 40). IM40 has the neat trick of earning 6 gems for Storm to unleash her Wind Storm (blue). At least that's what works for me. I do try to steer clear of that combo since it always costs me dearly.

I feel ya, all that work and one day missed messed me up. The points were there in the Daken/Bullseye battle, but I just couldn't take them. Oh well, Just means I'll have to work extra hard when he's available in a PVP.

I mentioned this in the alliance chat but I will post this here just in case as well.

I will be going on a 12-day holiday trip (to south korea, for those interested to know), starting from this weekend. I currently play only on Steam but have made a request since last week to link my account to facebook so I can play on my phone (I was part of the close beta for steam and that was a special request thing we could make). However, I've yet to receive a response from them on the issue, so my activity during this period may be outright zero and minimal at best.

Hey guys- I won't be able to make a final push on the Widow pvp event. I'll still be driving home from work sadly. Even so I wouldn't have placed very well without my OBW crutch. I was going through health packs like tic tacs!

Same here. Didn't have time to play this morning and I can't justify taking lunch at 10am lol. I probably didn't even remain in the top 100 with only 319 points. Sorry guys.
