No seriously proud of what? Comics have always been about pushing characters to the limit as of regarding to science is concerned. Look at the avengers:
Cap& bw: a serum made by a scientist
Ironman: engineering at its finest
Hulk: accident causes by science
Hawkeye: designed his arrows science
The only one on the original list that doesn't do this is Thor.
As far as the steam is concerned it really just feels like someone really wanted to make something be named steam.
Also art? Come on comics is an art form in it's own.
So no I'm not proud of this there is no reason to be. It's just another stupid marketing ploy.

The implementation might be ham-fisted and the covers might not look great, but I guess any sentiment that education is good is worth something. I just think it's a shame that this is the most creative they think they can be with it.
