  • Easy 137/ hard 137. I noticed this back during Hulk 2.5 on main mission map. I tried tanking on the main mission map in an effort to reduce the sub enemy levels. They have greatly reduced tanking as I have seen no impact or reduction and you can't tank main missions in Simulator.

    Also during hulk 2.5, sometimes level drops took a few hours to kick in to drop 10 or 15 levels.that or community was dying mightily.

    I have a feeling it is the same for scaling upwards too. I don't notice scaling when I play, but when I return after a refresh cycle the levels may have jumped 10-20.

    I'm going out of my way to avoid using Spidey's heal, up to the extent that I actually considered buying a health pack yesterday... probably a bit too much anti-scaling measures methinks.

    Healing up to full every 5th fight or so can't be _that_ bad for scaling - I think grinding down every node to 1 point contributes about 95% to personal scaling, the other 5 % _might_ be finishing fights at full health.
    In almost every post where someone complains about monster scaling it somewhere states "I want all those 500 ISO rewards, so I'm doing 4 fights each node each refresh"... well, of course then there will be 230s.
  • Personally I just do high point missions 2 or 3 times per refresh. That's enough to stay competitive, and my scaling remains very reasonable.
  • Round 3, I'm starting out at

    Easy: 80s
    Hard: high 90s

    Each round I've been doing the same thing, which is clear each node once to get the +200 bonus/node, then I will clear the 3 high level nodes once every cycle.

    I have finished top 10 in all events, in main bracket im currently sitting at #3....the #1 guy is only 1000 pts ahead of me so I could easily push to that position if/when I want to.

    The first round, Psylocke, the mobs were very low levels, I think 40s in easy bracket and 60s in hard bracket, and I didn't heal at all, using Psylocke was making everything easy mode.

    In the second round, Doom, my mobs were up to 60s in easy bracket and 100s in hard bracket, Doombots were OP, and I used heals a few times.

    This third round, Black Panther, I am using Spidey more regularly for the first time, since my BP is relatively low level (only 2 black covers), and I need more time to ramp up damage. We will see how this impacts me for round 4.

    I think both the amount of heals you do and the number of fights you do definitely both affect your MMR. During the first Simulator event I was grinding all nodes down to 1 almost routinely to get all the 500 ISO rewards and I faced a wall of 230 mobs almost the entire event. I had to use Spidey non-stop for that event.

    So the irony is, when I abused Spidey, I could do the 230 content, but it was also forcing me into the 230 content. Now that I'm not using Spidey, I actually don't need him nearly as much.
  • Normal at 163/163/163, Hard alternating between 162/161/161 and 195/193/193 based on my attempts to keep it in check.

    I'm at the same levels but without the spidey abuse.

    simulator 8 easy 117, hard 165. Lowest are ~90 and highest ~150 in easy. Hard haven't cleared all yet, but judging by the ones I have, probably scales the same.
