    Seriously? In the game, when you press on the Boss Rush event, at least on mobile, you get a splash page that says, among other things: "Alliance Event" and "This event pits your entire alliance against incredible odds and fearsome foes." and inites you to join the event and lock in your current alliance.

    I can't imagine how any of us stupid players were foolish enough to assume that this was an alliance event. . .

    FWIW, whether to go all Lone Wolf on this event depends a bit on your alliance.

    Top 5 in a T50 alliance or Top 10 in a T25 alliance comes out a bit ahead compared to Top 1 in a wherever you end up. And obviously if you're in a T2 alliance, you're better off there no matter where you place within.
