Happened the same to me, but got other reply than the generated also, saying I'm in the queue to restore my account and they will contact me about news asap, 3 days past since then, nothing happened.. name: shortnamed0

Its been more than 2 weeks now DEVS. 11 days since i got the "putting your ticket on hold while we restore your account"-message. In which by the way, you stated that I'd hear from you "soon."
I've not heard a peep since.
Whats going on? Your customers need some sort of insight in the process!!0 -

Got a mail today from support.
They have a technical problem at their end which effects the account restore process.
The restore process is underway but it takes longer timer because of said problem. Because of this, they're not able to estimate a time of completion.
I respect that D3. All I wanted was some sort of insight into the process.0 -

Lost my progress too. I had 9 plainswalkers at level 60, 636 cards, all 5 colors platinum mastery, about 250,000 runes, and 160 or so crystals.
User name is klobberer, I was in the "Flawless" group.
Not going to play any game by this company until it's fixed.0 -
Chiming in, also cannot log in since last update. Crashed out during end of last event, and did not receive either the personal rank or coalition rank rewards (top 100, did not see 'new card' rare in collection). Short time later was the update, after which I got an error trying to log back in. Retried several times, then hit cancel which took me to the title screen with "facebook login" (I do not have) or "start training" as options.
I try not to complain much since I enjoy this game greatly, but I have put money in and would appreciate restoring my account. Submitted ticket >24 hours ago, am posting here for extra exposure.

I replayed the tutorial, picked a new name, went to settings, and logged back onto google play, got my game back. Don't know why it disconnected. Glad I go it back. Wouldn't have started all over again.0
