Since everybody is posting name origins, I'll tell mine.

I used to play Warhammer with some friends of mine and we decided we'd do a campaign where the officers gained experience, so you'd need to name your characters. I had this badass vampire blood night in red armor and yellow / white hair. I named him after Dante, writer of the Divine Comedy, and a can of spray varnish that was in the room labeled Kamar. I've used that as an alias / username ever since.

Oh, I managed to place in the top 25 in No Holds Barred. Peaked at 12 before getting dragged down. Top 50 in the simulator. Strange I only got rated on one instead of both.

I am just 50HP short of 1100HP after the event ended today =( spent 75 to shield myself to get a daredevil heh.. So anyone wanna buy the next slot before I reload at 1st of Apr or when I do get enough HP from event, pls do so. The extra 100HP will just have to be my penalty =/

Anyways about admitting ppl into alliance.. I really wanted a feature that let us see the pts contributed by each member during an event. I'm not sure it's wise to select purely based on rosters, but it does show commitment, within reasonable bounds. A person with too few chars in roster would indicate that he's too casual, or he might just be a newbie (note: not noob); meanwhile cash player might not play so competitively in tournaments. I think, for now, we must rely on screenshots =/

My origin name is a random thing when i was playing on my xbox360 (not anymore since i'm on MPQ lol).

@Dantekamar : Warhammer...aaaah really like the franchise but i'm more into 40,000k. I never really played the board game (even if i painted a lot figurines when i was younger...).
@Mimio : I guess you are speaking about Magic the Gathering (MtG) right ? But mimio...no... i've searched a little, but i find nothing.

And about the placement, quite same like Dantekamar, #25 in NHB, #50 in simulator.I was #12 in NBH, #18, #12 (easy) & #6 (hard) in simulator when i go to sleep (3 hours about before the end...it was 2-3 am here...).
I'm not sure about the picture thing...if like i said i took the screenshot 3 hours before the end...that means nothing

Got my rating in for the 2nd simulator this morning, same result (top 50) but the token gave me a needed Ares cover rather than an unwanted Bullseye cover.

The Mimeoplasm, that's the Magic the Gathering card mimio is referring to. I actually have an oversized copy of this card thanks to a commander deck purchase. It's a legendary creature that basically mimics the size of one dead creature, and the skill of another. Guess it eats them too.

Yeah it's very odd that we don't have any in-game means of seeing how people in alliance are performing in each event. I'm sure it'll get added at some point, but who knows when.

What should we do about that until then?

I got the first DD cover from event awards for simulator right as it ended last night. So I finished around 50K points at the time. IDK what place I was in. I finished NHB at around 25th or something.

This 1star battle sucks. Can't compete at all unless I pump iso in otherwise useless 1* cards.

@ elysium : Round 2 won't be as successful for me either...I have Dr. Doom, but the nodes are really hard to fight. I started off by being beaten twice! DD came at me with his crotch-tastic move and killed off my team. I refuse to be so abused

@ mac480 : The 1-star battle sucks a LOT. But, since it appears fairly frequently, I've leveled up M.Storm - I already had IM and Juggs. However, the battles take FOREVER. And everyone has the same team. It's really boring.

I think screenshots aren't much help, since they don't show what time it was when they were taken. I'm trusting the devs to come up with a chart of some kind, but we know they are slow at introducing new developments. Until then, I think we're going to have to trust each other's info on this forum

I'm doing alright with round 2. I've got a Dr. Doom with 5 black covers but no blue sadly. At least the black ones are the ones that do damage. 1.2k with all 6 tiles intact.

There's only 4 or 5 useful 1 star heroes.; modern Black Widow, modern Storm, Ironman 35, Juggernaut, and Venom. So yeah, gonna be a lot of the same. At least it's not original Black Widow all day long.

@Elysium : I'm not a kid at all...really Portishead got some cool songs, but i'm not very fan about the band...All the tastes are in the nature ! I prefer some Massive attack, David bowie, David helpling, Bat for lashes, Bloc party, Editors, Garbage, Interpol, Lacuna coil, The Gathering, School of seven bells, The Cardigans, Solar fields & many many more... yeah a lot of mix here (i can't put them all or i will complete the page ahahah).

@Everyone : what level are the enemies you're facing on the 2nd round? Ours are around 100 (Easy Mode) and 200 (Hard). Wowie!

I also like Depeche mode (do you know Dragons ? only one album but could be a great band !), Coldplay, Placebo (i've seen them on stage !!! With an other great band before :Expatriate)...and i've listen a bit of Pink Floyd, don't like all but still great band...i'm just maybe not used to them, simply.
And like there is a freaking-biggy-laaaarge other bands on my PC /Ipod/CD's....more than 2 weeks of songs (and i guess more), and not random stuff at all inside !
