Yeah, i think Daredevil is great...but very weak against Daken for example...Mine (DD) is already at 89, and i can level him to 115 now.

    Anyone using IM40 ?

Wondering if I should update yellow from 2 to 3. I'm not sure its worth it.

I have read opposite opinions from people for / against leveling yellow.

    Your take ?

Elysium, I really like IM40's yellow. Ours is level 64 - 2/2/3. Janaina uses him as a support character: he gives out a lot of AP to the other characters. The problem with his red and blue attacks, as you surely know, is that they steal AP from his teammates, so his yellow is crucial to refill what he takes. His blue is awesome, but since it costs 20 AP and steals 3AP from all other colours, we use it as a final stroke.

Janaina was 5th in Easy Mode, and placed somewhere amongst the top 20 in Hard (we don't know exactly icon_rolleyes.gif ). What about you?

Yay! The next Sim's prizes are Patch covers!

    Go team!
  • I got 20713 in easy mode and 26139 in hard mode. Earned an unneeded black Dr Doom cover on the first heroic token, bah! This next round I may not fair as well as it Black Panther, and I only have a yellow cover of his.

Not too good for me ! I don't have Doctor Doom so my possibilities were limited...

Next round should be more fun icon_e_smile.gif

    Me want Patch covers !!!

Yea black panther, lame. This round of simulator might be a bit tougher.

Hopefully we can place top 100 in the Lord of Thunder event and get that patch cover.
  • Hey guys, good to be here. I've been playing the game for a while, but had never bothered joining an alliance when they first rolled them out. Team is pretty solid, looking to max out IM40, then maybe start working on another 3-star character. Any suggestions?

As far as non-game stuff goes, I work in the design field and am a big sports fan. Have to root for the hometown teams, but my NFL team is the Bengals. Now if they can just win a playoff game. Big into music, usually end up listening to it all day while at work. Mostly alternative stuff, just getting into EDM. If you guys want to know anything else, just ask.

    No...relax & have fun !

Can't you at least explain your nickname to other teamates ?
And do you have any idea about a cool character for your signature ?

We've got a bunch of well-geeky-freaky people here who know more than the

Well, it's pretty obvious, but Spidey? He's the definitve support character. People speak wonders of The Punisher, but we only have two covers, so we can't really tell. The Hulk is a solid wall that takes all damage, but his attacks aren't all that great. However, his black move is fantastic.

You didn't tell us where your nickname comes from! I'm betting we've found another cat lover (Fritejay and I have cats).

Anyone knows where we placed in the one-star tournament? We don't really know, because Janaina was playing till the last second in the Easy Sim. She's REALLY dedicated - she started playing at 6h40 a.m. (GMT -3) and stopped only when the tournament ended (1 p.m. here). She ate her lunch while playing, lol.

I have no idea where we finished. Either top 100 or top 50 I would think. Last night we were around 30 or 40 with about 8hrs left. I finished at like 550 and placed top 25. Those shield things are kind of cheap, I hadn't used one before.

Same !!! Patch here pls !! Mine is 77, and you ?

And for IM40, i use him too, actually 2/3/3 (77), need some covers too ! He's really cool to gain some gems really faster than the others.

Shielding can be amazing if you learn how to. The first time we tried, we wasted money buying more than was necessary, but afterwards it became crucial. Shielding can help you most of all on the three last hours of a tournament, when all hell breaks loose.

Just to share our thoughts...Janaina and I are somewhat concerned about this Thor tournament, since the prizes are Patch covers. The competition will be fierce. From experience - and, for those who were around, from reading WalkYourPath fantastic walkthrough of a No Holds Barred tournament - we know that, in the last hours of a tournament, you can't play more than two very quick battles, or a long one at most, without being defeated by a hundred people (once we tried to fight two long battles, and six people beat us simultaneously, and we lost 118 points). So you have to unshield, play one or two battles, and shield. It can be expensive, but it's also very rewarding and quite exciting.

    I highly recommend reading WalkYourPath's post: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2879&p=43622&hilit=anatomy#p43622
  • I'm like a kid when i open & see those lights...waiting to see a gold cover one, but nope...Wolverine (ast) and Ares (both yellow).

Oops, Fritejay, my bad! I wrote you a message saying we had already invited Faerie in, but on second thought I decided to hear from our other team members first. The slot's there, we just have to agree on someone to fill it...Do any of you guys have a suggestion?

Even if i never read this topic before...that's a long time ago I shield at the beginning of those 3 last hours.

And yeah i know what you're talking about !
Months ago, I tried to finish PVP and i was 3rd or things like that...15 seconds after i saw a big list of counters... bam, bam, bam...20th..Holly molly !!! More than 10 or 12 guys at least.

    OK !

    ScarFighters, time to vote !
The problem is...not all of our teamates look at our thread mmmm...

I don't want a pending people for 2 days again.
How do you think about this everybody ?
  • I don't have any objection to inviting the pending person. Army is underpowered, but as long as the person is active it doesn't matter all that much.

Just have to be good about removing people who aren't participating regularly.

I really feel bad about this...Maybe some people doesn't even know there is a thread here icon_rolleyes.gif
Or maybe they simply don't speak english.

Even if mine is terrible, i try at least...

Sad that, for example, robertec don't talk here, and show is punisher'sig, and look at the others...
But I think he play a lot.
