Dev's, another event that will cost me exclusive rewards because of freezes is unacceptable. The software should NOT be your toughest opponent in this game. Multiple crashes cost me Saheeli last time and it appears it is more of the same this time around. All I want to know without sounding entitled is " What are you going to do for those of us that can't beat your software?". We spend enough money to ensure this game has the correct amount of QC.

I'm having a similar problem. I have had 4 freezes so far. Three dealing with destroying tokens with spells, and one a failure to start the match at all. I have been getting every ribbon from the matches I've completed, and even with that I still am not likely to get saheeli just because of the crashes I'm likely going to continue getting. This is not acceptable.

I haven't even been able to join the tinykitty thing. It just keeps saying something went wrong.

This is a picture of my points total. Please read it as saying 193 points. However, I currently sit in 451st place.

My points have been zeroed out for the event. Is this a joke? As someone who supports this this game with hard earned cash, this is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!!.

Oh dang son. That's a new bug.

Was mostly top 10 most of this event, platinum tier. With multiple freezes counting as losses I should have easily been rank 25+.
I ended at 27. So if basically if I don't get my Saheeli (After playing the same people with the same pathetic gimmicks over and over (RC garbage mainly) You zero-skillers know who you are.) I'm pretty much done with this game.

Oof. I feel you. I finished 7th in silver tier, after losing 2 games to crashes. (3rd loss due to flying, vigilant RC while playing Saheeli.)

Have you considered the possibility that you're only above rank 25 without crashes because others crashed?

Why so much hate bro. As a competitive player (as you seem to be) you know that destroying a predictable field full of gimmick decks is easy going. There are common tier cards in almost every color that trade 1:1 with the guy and cost less. So say thank you to all competitors who decide to build their deck around one specific card and enjoy watching the AI cast their Haunted Cloaks on your guy again and again.

Not saying your wrong or anything, cause apparently a lot of players have been affected by game crashes. But i know from my own experience that there are players (like me) who haven't experienced a single game crash, neither on my phone (htc one m7) nor on my PC (nox app player).

I made it to 371 of 384 possible points in the last Terrors of the Shadows event, finishing #2 and making my first top 5 finish with 22 points ahead of the #6 player. Man would i be pissed if i missed out on 24 points due to three game crashes playing my **** off all weekend and even at work on monday.

So i fully understand Azazels perspective. I think its not unlikely that the players finishing in top positions are mostly not experiencing any game crashes and there are a lot of guys with game crashes who just finish behind them although they have been playing as much and as good.

I finished top 10 and froze thrice. It's not impossible.

Nobody said it's impossible. By the way, without the freezes you might have made top 5.
  • I'm well aware alot of people probably experience crashes, but when you see most of the same people always on the leader board it's clear not everyone is affected so much, I guess being 2 ranks below the minimum is what just makes me the most mad.

I forgot to mention, only crashes I've experienced are from opponent's cards, not mine. Like Turn Against, Prized Amalgam and Seasons Past. So if someone doesn't face the same person using cards like that it boils down to luck and the **** matchmaking.
Only time I've experienced crashes that undoubtedly were caused by me were on story missions when mastering cards like these.

I got through the whole event without a single crash, just as a data point. Finished first in my group as a result, by quite a large margin (I think anyway - can't check the actual scores afterwards, but I was a long way ahead the whole time including with one hour to go). Had 353 out of a possible 360. This was in silver tier mind you, and also in a late-starters group, not sure where 353 would rank in platinum!

For what it's worth, I've found I've had a lot less crashes since upgrading my ipad (from a very old one to a moderately old one). In fact I don't think I've had a single crash since the upgrade. While on the other hand it still crashes fairly frequently if I play on my phone. I actually have a theory that the majority of crashes in many games are actually triggered by running out of memory. Or at least, they increase in frequency when running low on memory. I don't know a lot about how memory is managed on iOS to be honest, but the behaviour fits qualitatively in general, across a number of different games.

I end with 359 pts in plat, with 2 games not played. I was ranked 27th.

that's my target to end 26-50 since I already won Saheeli in the first round. Just playing to help out my coalition to get pts for top10.

perfect score for Saheeli event should be 384.
