So I'm NOT the only one who rage quit on them? I wasted all my health packs and ALL my champions. And I still can't get past 3/6 on them. Muscles spam strike tiles with nearly 1000 strenght (at least above 900) and Jugs kills me with just cascads. and since his skills are so cheap, he fires them often. Especially green provoking cascades. And then they start to use their AoE...0 -
Its fascinating how quickly i fell in love in Clearance levels system. I miss them so much now0

Black Duke wrote:How do I hate this node with Juggernaut and the two Muscles!
Times like this I'm glad I already gave up on this event for both full progression and any kind of placement (it's a busy weekend and I'm missing two essentials due to not rostering any of the Fantastic 4). If I make the Squirrel Girl progression I'm happy, so when I saw that node I decided to just skip it and hit another, less painful one a couple more times. When people complained about 1* Juggernaut & 1* Venom together in PVE, I don't believe any of them really thought Venom was the main offender...veny wrote:Its fascinating how quickly i fell in love in Clearance levels system. Yeah, no kidding. That's been one of the better changes in recent memory and they've been on a pretty good run as of late, all things considered.0 -
Hood. Juggernaut. Bullseye.
There's so much to choose from, so why do these funkillers always pop up?0 -
You know, maybe it's a good thing that i miss not only two essentials(4- and 2-star), but any descent buffed characters as well - clearing those nodes wit Juggernaut/Hood+Bullseye only twice was pretty horrid expirience, so i can rest a bit and do some other stuff.0

Black Duke wrote:How do I hate this node with Juggernaut and the two Muscles!
On a lark, I threw a random team of poorly-covered 5*'s at this and somehow won three times. My single green cover Black Bolt was the MVP, as the full board reset keeps the Muscles from getting too far out of hand.
Between this and how brutally easy my bracket appears to be (I'm still somehow in the Top 50 missing two essentials and not doing 4 full clears, yet, in the first 12 hours; So far in the new PVE, my best finish was only ~190--once--with all essentials and getting every non-critical boost award) I should buy a lottery ticket...0 -

Challenging, but still much easier than node from the previous event. Did 4 clears using 3 healthpacks, with my 3 "green team":0 -
Lack of Clearance Level prizes, and scaling that seems out of whack...
This event is a step back from where we were with the last event. A new character release and everything goes kaput. Shame on you devs. Boooooooo.....0 -

I hate even seeing even one Muscle. They are ridiculously overpowered. I'll be struggling to get AP for even one power while they have strike tiles out already, which of course are far stronger than anything I could put out. They have incredibly high health, and a super cheap and powerful AoE attack. It's just stupid how much more dangerous they are than enemy heroes. Trying to down them with match damage before they become overwhelming is an exercise in futility.0 -
Yea, quite painful event, i wouldn't mind to tone down difficulty a bit with exchanging char for some gold(need that space badly). Anyway, can someone tell me how much you need to score in this event subs to get progression ? I gave it some thought after i relaxed a bit after those Jugg+Muscle/Hood+Bullseye+Muscle fights and decided that those command points would be a waste to miss...0
-
This is B.S. Why do I have use so many health packs and I've gone through 12 characters just to get the third win in Mr fantastic node.
The boards that come out just seem rigged for me to lose.
This is definitely they way to make me stop playing and not recommend this game.

o The 3-Star Progression reward will take approximately two clears of each mission.
o The top Progression reward will take approximately four clears of each mission.
o We will be attempting something similar for S.H.I.E.L.D. Clearance Levels."
Who actually pairs well with Mr Fantastic?0 -
Ratboy wrote:Who actually pairs well with Mr Fantastic?
In theory, IW and Thing, since they have abilities that produce a lot of protect tiles, that wheh matched heal Mr.F, turning them into slow but tanky team. Additionally it would fill up their green alowing Thing to put some damage.
In practice I can't really tell since I have only two cover for Mr.F and don't have Thing0 -
Thanks, Ratty.
As of Mr. Fantastic - don't have him, but from the loaner nodes i assume that his blue stun and black countdown would come great in team that matches alot of green, yellow and red tiles while dropping lot of specials for enemy to match. So... Squirrel, Magneto(3-star), Patch, Falcon, Cap. Those sort of guys. Or pair him with Torch/Thing/Invisiwoman. Should work too, he's getting some bonus for others Fantastic four on his team, right ?0 -
For everyone who hates the Muscle/Juggernaut mode, I concur. However, Elektra *really* shines against that combination. I used Invisible Woman/Elektra/Hood (one of the few times I *can* use him, so why not?) in that fight. Made to through all 4 rounds, only losing IW on Round 4. Elektra steals and improves the Muscle tiles, and her Shadow Step changes Headbutt to "Sacrifice a black tile - Do lots of damage to Juggernaut." IW can keep those countdown tiles from going off, or at least really lower the damage with her yellow. If everything is concentrated in a couple of 3x3 grids, use Twin Pistols. bearing in mind that it opens Hood up for the next attack.0

It's not fun.
Absolutely agree on this, I've never seen boards so perfectly arranged, every time on every try of Mr. Fantastic node.
Not fun.0 -
This is one weird event. The first one I couldn't even complete 4 nodes in all the stages and the second part is 2 days and I blew through all the 4 nodes in less than 6 hours.0
