I actually found a positive for Lazy(Gold)Characters

There's no positive since you have to have all the heroes due to buffed heroes and limited hero roster on events. You can't sell them, and you wasted a ton of ISO on them.

The positive is more choice with dev time being able to go to something other than new characters for a couple of weeks here and there. Everyone wants in-game alliance chat, a new commander level for alliances, the waited upon nerfs/ buffs, the windows phone version (okay, that's just me), and about ten other things. If they manage tp compress character dev time by making a couple lazy characters so they can fix up these other things, that's good. People that want new characters twice a month get something and all the needed improvements get done, too.

More totally new characters are coming down the road, I mean, duh. How can the forums simultaneously complain that there are too many new characters and that there aren't enough NEW new characters?

The positive is having whiny people quit. If you don't like the 3* hero, then don't play. If you're complaining about the 3* hero, then chances are you wouldn't have done well overall in whatever PVP/PVE event required them.

But this really isn't a new character.

I disagee and can not see "Gold" characters as a positive. I'd rather have 2+ weeks of no new characters and they work on other known issues and/or they can spend some time and energy on a well though out hero or villian instead of puking out the same lazy, recycled ****.

It's almost like, as human beings, we must naturally divide ourselves into two opposing camps about anything. I guess if you see the Lazy Characters and just think to yourself, "Oh, okay, I get it" you don't post about it on the forums anyway.
