Fight enemy Planeswalkers and decks crafted by real players as you battle for prestige and power. Competition is sure to be fierce in Saheeli Rai's Challenge, with smaller Leaderboards of only 500 players!

Saheeli Rai’s Challenge will begin Friday September 2nd at 4pm UTC. Make sure not to miss it - Saheeli Rai’s Challenge will only appear this weekend!

Rewards: The top ranked players will earn the limited-time exclusive Planeswalker Saheeli Rai at the end of the event! Click on the “Rewards” button in-game for a full list of available rewards. Note that Saheeli Rai will not be available for purchase in the near future.

Changelog/Balancing

Card balance changes and fixes
    - Rattlechains: Spirits in your hand now correctly each gain 6 mana when Rattlechains enters the battlefield. - Ghoulsteed: When returning Ghoulsteed to the battlefield through a Landfall when the battlefield is full, you now Discard 2 cards only if you choose to replace a creature with Ghoulsteed. - Just the Wind: The card’s Madness will now properly trigger. - Undergrowth Champion: Removed references to being immune to Destroy spells and effects. - Inner Struggle: The card text has been fixed. It now reads “Deal damage to a creature equal to it’s Power”. - Hope Against Hope is now a Spell rather than a Support. Please note that should this change break any of your deck’s limitations, you will be prompted to change your affected decks.
    * This card’s abilities are unchanged. The change was made because it made a lot more sense as a Spell than a Support. * The card now also properly gives First Strike to Humans only.
- True-Faith Censer: Now properly gives +1/0 only to Humans.
- Hermit of the Natterknolls: Now properly Transforms only when your opponent casts a card.
- Nagging Thoughts: Resolved issue with picking the 2nd card and it’s Madness ability will now properly trigger.
- Erebos’s Titan: Now properly returns to the battlefield when it is Destroyed.
- Prized Amalgam: The card now properly works and no longer freezes the game.
- Equestrian Skill: Now properly gives Trample only to Humans.
- Creatures that can Transform when playing 2 or more cards now Transform when playing two of the same creatures in a single turn.
- Silverfur Partisan: Now properly gains +4/+4 when a spell is cast on a friendly Wolf or Werewolf (previously would trigger off any spell cast).
- Briarbridge Patrol: Now correctly Investigates only when dealing damage to creatures.
- Creatures should no longer be stuck in a Transform animation.
- Incited Rabble: It’s activated gems are now properly removed from the board when bounced back to hand.
- Destroying Supports was incorrectly flagged as the Support being Discarded and could trigger Madness as well as cards that trigger abilities off Discarding cards. This issue has been fixed.
- Avacyn’s Judgment: Now correctly triggers it’s Madness ability.
- Indulgent Aristocrat: Now correctly Discards the first creature you control.

Additional Bug Fixes
    - Multiple bug fixes & Improvements of the Gems Board. - Multiple bug fixes related to Progression (rewards in Story Mode, Events and Quick Battle). - Multiple bug fixes & Improvements related to connectivity and error message handling.

Could we please get some information on what the secondary objectives are in Saheeli Rai's Challenge? If this is only run once then we don't want to start a node with the wrong PW or make an incorrect choice that could have been avoided if we had information beforehand. Please give us the full details up front so no one has to sacrifice themselves to find out a vital twist in the rules that could have been relayed up front.

When Diregraf Colossus comes into play with no other zombies in play, it is no longer triggering comes-into-play effects. Therefore, it remains a 2/2.

Previously, it would count itself for its CIP effects, and be a 5/5.

Can you confirm if this is a purposeful change?

    What Nexus said.

Certain PW are better at certain objectives. We need this information ahead of time.

extremely underwhelmed at the coalition rewards. Hopefully down the line a tiered system will come out to separate the whale coalitions from the paupers. Then a CvC event or war option. I mean such a tiny amount of near useless runes for the vast majority.

Seasons Past has been fixed, but for some reason I forgot to put it in the release notes. Sorry!

    Hello!

The secondary objectives are basically transforming a creature twice and another one I can't remember off the top of my head. We are going to run a test again tomorrow of the event and I will let you know exacts.

Also, we are aware of some small bugs (one of which is Sorin's story is placeholder text). We are working on fixing this and will get that out tomorrow. If you see anything amiss, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Saheeli Rai is a great character, she's a lot of fun.

How can people complain about the coalition rewards? Hey are going to be giving away 2000 plus rares when you figure 20 members per coalition and top 100 coalitions get SOI rares. I think I will clear like five new rares in the next two days...

Quick question: Do all 4 nodes have the same objectives?

You must be new here. Devs have continually given us free stuff and all that's done is increase the complaints that there isn't more free stuff.

Lucky you to have amassed such a collection that you can build decks that give you the confidence that you will get 5 rares in the next two days. I honestly hope you do and hope there aren't many duplicates. I don't know if its lack of self confidence or fear of primo coalitions. I'm certain there are many made that are full of whales and vets with great collections. There's a good chance there are enough to take more than the top 100 slots. I'm rarely breaking the top 100 in any competition and I don't want my coalition to have to carry me past that point. I get rewarding the spenders, they earned that preferential treatment. It just feels like more of the same, those with the right cards get more while the rest get left behind. The game needs more PvE where beginners can make progress towards competitiveness.

The soi events are less about having insane cards and more about proper deck building. I often place top 5, and have had to remove my mythics to build proper decks to achieve the objectives.

Take some time to create and test your decks, then play the event seriously. I mean... If you're not putting in 100% effort in the event, it's rather disingenuous to complain the prizes are bad if you don't place.

As for coalition rewards, these are new rewards we didn't have before. That's what he means. Why are people complaining about an available bonus? You didn't stand a chance to win these rewards last event, and now you do. People are weird.

Same thing with events really. It wasn't that long ago qb was the only way to grind for gold and rare/mythics. Now that there are more ways to get rewarded, people complain more.

Yep, the first thing that happened to me after patching was a Prized Amalgam freeze.
    Dang.

    Can confirm.
I finally added it to my deck, then it died and then I used a zombie that summons 2 zombie tokens. When they entered they filled my 3 creature spots and then the game asked which creature I want to remove to play Prized Amalgam. I selected the zombie tokens, Prized Amalgam entered the battlefield and the game froze.
