I'm at #173 in Unstable ISO-8, but opponents are on level 230 and my team get totally wrecked. Looks like I'm not getting rewards for this one...

Human Torch looks pretty cool so I'm hoping to get a few covers. I remained in the top 50 overnight and got myself back up to the top 5 before work, but this event is long so things can change. I'm definitely happy to have our alliance, getting more rewards (especially hero points) has done wonders for me.

As a side note, I'm going to make individual signatures for everyone. I'm just going to add our forums names (or game names?) so it'll help distinguish our posts a bit more (something I'm having a hard time doing since we added it).

I decided to not shield last night at 720 points since that put me only at 5th place, I was unsurprised to drop down to 20's when I woke up in the morning. Since I had no time to play today, I'm lucky to still get a green cover. Taking it easy for the iso event until the least few days. Might do the rounds a few times for the prizes though. New missions everyday is a lot of ISO.

And really? Personalized sigs? That is awesome!

Definitely great to have this alliance! If not for the prizes, it's still nice to have a group to chat with.

Does anyone know what the refreshing cycle for this event is like? I wanted to do two runs per day, but I can't seem to catch when the rubberbanding seems to be at its peak. When the event first started, the nodes were worth like 50. At the end of an hour, they were like 500. I didn't want to start too late since I want to do two runs, but I don't want to run through all the nodes when they constantly seem to be growing.

Also... Best There Is. I have all three Wolvies, but gah, 3 PvP nodes and each of them require specific Wolvie? That is so unfair when you're paired up against opponents who aren't using the same version.

I Believe others play against those characters that you have used the last time, but you can only use specific wolfie in each slot. So, it would be pointless to use any other wolfie but your best...unless your best wolfie is down. But then you give others easier opponent.
Just a guess though!

Yes, but if they specify you can only use say X force in the A slot, then people's teams who also uses x force should go into that slot. Just my thought.

Although I suppose in the end it really doesn't matter.

I agree with that. With a 85 amazing anhd 53 patch, I can more or less deal with two slots but with no x force, the third is forbidden anyway. But I face a two star wolvie nearly every time, and maxed of course.

Does anyone feel like it's impossible to get the Lazy Cap progression reward, even the first one? With nearly half the event over, I'm still only a bit above 20k. I think it'll be a stretch to get the HP reward as it is, Lazy Cap is nearly impossible.

Good thing I'm doing quite well in the Wolvie event! It might be too early to say still, but I'm going to hope that I can get first place in my bracket. So far, I climbed from 0 to 600 with only two strikes back... I don't think that ever happened before. I tanked a bit yesterday in the lightning rounds, but that couldn't have done that much good.

I don't think I'm fighting any other node besides the Amazing one. Even if I win in other nodes, I wouldn't want to leave defense teams with much weaker X-Force and Patch.

Yeah I'm at 24k and even with three days left I'm wondering how it'll be possible. I'm hoping to get something decent from the Wolverine event, though. I've been taking it a little easy in it so I don't get hit back, but will hit it hard tonight to try and get some rewards. I just want to level up this Lazycap so I can replace my two star one.

Speaking of Cap, the new movie is amazing. Winter Soldier is one of the best Marvel movies; I loved it. I hope you all do too!

The rewards in points generally go up hugely the last day. But it would mean that the previous days would not have counted for anything. I count more ont he Wolvie evfent to get LazyCaps.

By the way I concur for Winter Soldier. Very good movie, I had a lot of fun seeing with my best friend who is also a Marvel fan.

I thought the points going up usually is due to the rubber banding, do they really go up? Although, even if they increase... I doubt it'll take 50k (rough estimate of where we'd be with the same progress as before) and turn it into 93k.

No spoilers for the movie!! XD But good to know that it's worth the watch. Now... is it worth to watch it in 3D?

I just had a real shock when I picked up my PVP covers and saw Top 50. Turns out those were the alliance rewards.

As for the PVE, I don't see either of the Cap covers being achievable, unfortunately.

I broke 30k in the pve and am only 1k behind the leader. The last two days will have to be crazy good to get up to those rewards. I managed top 5 in the wolverine event so I've got 6 covers for lazycap now. And I realized he is slightly different than the original cap, so that made me feel a bit better about him.

As for the movie, of course no spoilers! Don't both with 3D though cause 3D always sucks I hate it, but a friend of mine said it was "subtle" in 3D so I'm not sure that means it would be worth it.

I got near 35k and the leader is below 36k. With just a day and half to go, either people will stay very far from the goals, either the points rewarded will be hugely increased in the last day.
Got above 800 in the PvP event; the GSBW covers will be very useful for the next event.

Well, with the last dash to go i'm first on just over 49k in my bracket. While it does mean i'll come first as long as I turn up for the last run through it also means the progression rewards were total ****.

Perhaps they thought everyone would keep grinding ALL their nodes down to 1 point every chance they got and ppl were rubberband to higher amounts, but my money is on them being REALLY bad at maths

Okay, I agree with the bad at math theory. Even assuming people did grind down to 1, I doubt it would have made enough of a difference since nodes got pretty lore after a while.

I just started doing my run and having a lot of trouble getting post the Daken and Bullseye combo, which is also worth the most. Not having much luck with Venom and Ragnarok either... since they are all 230 when I'm trying to keep my guys mid tier. I was hoping to level my guys when I get the covers I want.

For Rags/Venom (and really almost every fight possible) I use Patch/OBW/Hood. That's not much help though, if you don't have those highly covered. We are talking about 2 *** characters here, so they aren't exactly easily available, but it works reasonably well. With Hood and Espionage I get enough blue AP to heal as much as I need and I can delay the Maggia countdown significantly. Twin Pistols are a great follow-up to Berserker Rage. It's often possible to leave only a single enemy strike tile.

As for Bullseye/Daken... yeah, that one's a tinykitty. I beat it once with Patch/OBW/Loki, but the next time I failed easily.
