    Since klingsor's not interested in an explanation, I'll just say this for others who are interested:

    1. I didn't say recruitment efforts weren't in place. What I said was that we were reaching out to top tier players that we've interacted with here in the forums and played against in Elite tourneys and the like. I also said that the targeting wasn't specific to the Venoms alliance. It wasn't. We got people from all over, the vast majority of which weren't attached to an alliance at the time. They're all people we've had fun talking to and playing against in the past.

    2. You can't steal a person. They decided to play with us because we play pretty hard, share good info, have fun, and don't take it all quite so seriously.

    3. There's no end of great players in this game. It's doing a disservice to the other awesome players on their team, who are still totally giving us a run for our money. Venoms still has an amazing line up, along with all the alliances on the leaderboard right now. They're good people, great players, and I love interacting with them all here.

    I really don't want the forums to be a place where I can't have camaraderie with all these great players, regardless of alliance. Pretty sure TheUnwiseOne was hoping this thread would be a place for some good-natured trash talk rather than a place to spit ven... ummm, anger?

    So, in that spirit, I dig you all, and as a strong contender, we expect to be targeted regardless of how you feel about us. Come at as us, bros and sises! We'll see you here with smiles no matter how it turns out.

    I think one problem with the current system is the lack of extra rewards for top but not THE top teams. It seems really weird that 2nd and 50th get the same reward. I imagine that creates some strong desire to take first for the top 10ish but imagine being 30th-40th. No way to climb to one and not a whole lot of extra effort needed to stay top 50.

    On the topic of drama I won't lie part of me wants to be able to see the scores of team members. I am ok with lower scoring team members but it will be really important to be able to identify players who have become inactive or quit playing the game. There is no way to know if a member is even still playing. Of course being able to see player scores would inevitably result in groups requiring minimum scores and member kicking which would be bad... unless you love drama!

    It really is a basic feature that should be implemented though! Just so you can see if someone hasn't joined yet so you can see how much more potential you have to raise in the ranks.

    You know what would make this better?

    If IceIX defected to SHIELD.

    I have issues with people kicking participants out of an Alliance mid event. Everything else is fair game.

    I am trying to work out if it is wrong to add my steam account to my alliance though. I also don't know if I trust myself not to kick myself at the last minute...

    He missed to first penalty when Suarez kept his feet in the box.
    He missed the second penalty when Johnson hand balled. Would have been soft but rules is rules.
    He missed the third penalty when Rooney was taken down.
    He missed the fourth penalty when Sturridge was taken out by Carrick.

    So you could say both sides missed out on 2 penalties, or you could say Liverpool got 60% of theirs and Man U got 0%
