    I sense a trend here.

    Can't really blame them when it's so easy to win using CL Storm, especially with a decoy such as a low-level Hood. You can beat any team with that with no effort

    I'd gladly ditch Thor and Storm if I had any other cards to use. But I don't. So I won't.

    agreed with poster above, i think its more of the fact that lots of ppl don't have 2-3 stars with lots of abilities (personally, i have thor/storm/captain america with high level abilities, and i play this game a butt ton).

    I'm with you their, I play this game a **** ton and have the following with maxed covers:
    Thor
    Classic Storm
    Magneto Marvel NOW
    Venom
    Black Widow
    Cpt. America
    Storm Modern
    Iron Man would've been but sold him a while ago

    If I could get covers for: Rag, Spidey, Doom, Daken, or 2 Star Wolverine I would be using them.

    early in the game, we used to see lots of iron man/storm/black widows, now its transitioned to the other f2p characters.

    i have no doubt if wolverine or modern hawkeye or any other 2 star characters with an abundance of covers for free were in play, they'd be used a butt ton too.

    last time lightning roudns was exactly 24 hours, this time, seems to be going longer with no end in sight (another tourney in an half an hour or so)

    today I tried to get rid of this thor /storm setup and ditched like 15.000 ISO on the Hood 500 ISO pack and I got 1 (!) cover for him ^^ but now I have all 1* covers maxed and got a few nice wolverine covers too...

    I'm fine with this. Run them for a week and maybe I can get some Hood or Doom covers. In the meantime it makes for a great source of ISO just getting to 100 each tournament.

    Cap gets used a lot... someone who gets called a PVE character. I'm not sure if they're gonna try to push IM40 next. At least for me, as a f2per, he has been the easiest 3-star character to get so far.

    well captain covers are all over the place, and he had 2-3 events where he got a 150% boost. which is why i have a level 60 captain. but now he's being sat for thor simply because he isn't as good for pvp things

    Wow, so that's why there's so much Thor going around. I'm the opposite. I only got covers to get Thor to 3/2/2 and I have a 4/3/5 ** Wolverine. My storm classic is 2/4/1 because I only pull blue for her lol.

    You referring to the lightning rounds themselves? I dislike em, if only for the fact that Hood/Doom is required and Hood/Doom is the prize.

    I'd be fine with 'em if the 10K placement rewards actually worked properly and always gave 250 ISO. I consider playing one or two quickie rounds to get a guaranteed 250 ISO to be a good use of time. Unfortunately, some are still bugged and only give 70.

    I'm guessing that D3's idea was that with the 250 ISO at 10K, it's always worth it to at least poke your head in, and if you get on a win streak, maybe you'll stay interested and try to place. It's not a bad idea in theory.

    The hardest part for me was trying to land exactly in the 25-50 spot (in the Doom tourney) so I could get 2 heroic pulls. :p Never pulled it off.


    Also, I learned that if you are a 1/2 hour late into the tournament, don't even bother chasing the prizes. You will never get to the upper tier of prize rewards.

    I have trouble sleeping recently and I wake up now and then at night. Therefore when I woke up to new round I did 100pts and went back to sleep icon_mrgreen.gif

    I am now taking couple hours break before going back to Free For All... and then I will need to wake up at 3am for last hour icon_neutral.gif

    The lightning rounds seem like an odd idea to me. If someone places in the top tiers of a round and gets more covers for Hood/Doom, how much stronger are they going to be in the next round for Hood/Doom 2 hours later? It seems like winning the first one would just put you on a direct path to winning all of them, barring ISO and sleep shortages.
