Colognoissuer - Thanks for making the chat forum. I'm excited to see how this event works. Based on IceIX comments earlier, it seems like ally points will be cumulative. So having 5 people averaging 800 points won't be as strong as 10 averaging 500. That said, I'm glad to see we have 12 members now. Everyone looks to be an active player, so I'm excited to see how this first event goes. Also, quite a few 141 Punishers have been added, so that is always good for the theme of our group.

Lordwill - I appreciate you expanding the size of the alliance to 12. I know that isn't cheap!

I don't think we will have an issue putting up some strong results! This is going to be fun!

Interesting, the format of this PvP is different than I expected. So it looks like there is a combination of individual and alliance prizes. I'm guessing individual will work just like it does now with subgroups and progression awards. The alliance prizes look to be different. It appears to be one pool with number 1 getting a huge prize of a BP cover (I think it's just 1, blue), 500HP, and 2000 ISO. The next bracket is 2-50 which returns BP, 100HP, and 2000 ISO. Not bad! It will be interesting to see how competitive this gets!

I kind of dread seeing that 500 HP main prize, it's going to encourage people to shield up a lot more thinking they will be able to still make a profit of HP once their alliance wins.


I'm excited to see how it plays out. Plus, I have 0 BP covers, so I am super-motivated to do the best I can this weekend.

Sucks man, there should be a way for alliance members to 'tithe' HP to the commander. Although, I guess that could be abused by players with multiple accounts.

Looks like you can promote someone to commander so they can buy slots, though I can imagine the 13th slot must be astronomically expensive

I think I drew first blood for Retribution as I entered a couple hours after it started and there were no points on the leaderboard.
Going to go at this with my A-team of lvl 141 Spidey/Hulk/GSBW and just take down points whenever I have a chance.
If I get an unlucky cascade I think my B-Team is going to be lvl 141 BP/Patch/ lvl 85 OBW.
I'll ditch the healers for the final push and just go through teams as fast as I can.
Of course I'll be skipping anyone I see from Retribution including our newest Clint. I hope the devs give a little something extra to LordWill since he has been laying out all the HP. There really needs to be a way for us to funnel something back to him.

It does suck that some of you are frequently in my usual MMR bubble. i guess that's the one case for having an alliance with diverse rosters, less stepping on each other's toes in a tourney. But, it will just mean a little more skipping and a few more sub 20 point battles .. which isn't a huge deal.

Alright, it looks like some alliances are starting to make their way to the leaderboard that look to be contenders. Vermes Army has 13 slots, Heroes666 has 15 ( ), and DjangoUnbuffed has 11. That said, we clearly have the best group of any of them! I really think we could be an extremely competitive alliance and expect us to do very well! Happy PvPing everyone! I'm currently tanking, but I do expect our total score to be at least 7000 assuming we stay at the current team size. I'm curious to see what it's going to take to be #1. I don't think we will have any issue getting top 50.

I'm interested in joining if you have space. I'm on day 142, I have 138 patch/101 Hulk/100 Punisher/95 Spidey and a bunch of maxxed 2* stars. I generally finish top 5-15 in PvP events, and top bracket in PvE events (currently at #130 in Hulk event). I'm a daily player looking for a good home with all the new alliance changes Thanks for your consideration.

Finishing top 200 in hulk and top 5 in hood event atm, so patch will be 141 before the night is over !
