Scaling is kicking my **** in hard mode right now, I kinda feel like this

Had a couple unlucky cascades in the hard sub that wiped out my health packs. Only a top 10 and 25 finish, 100k points overall. The loss of health packs also messed up my 1* tourney where I lost my solid 1st place lead to finish 2nd because I couldn't get some characters revived quick enough.

Patch is the reward for the new Thor tourney, and there is an alliance cover also. I don't need any Patch covers but will rack up some points for the team assuming some folks still need him.

what did we end up finishing in the tourneys for alliances? That patch reward sounds really nice. I think I only have 1 yellow for him.

I know we got a hood cover, but not sure what place, can't remember.

I got first on sim hard, and 5th on easy... all my tokens were wolverines and ares

I'm really going to do the lord of thunder, I want those red and yellow patch covers! It will get my patch over 125 levels with those 2. He's currently at 92.
Patch is awesome for those kamikaze like attacks

I received my 5th place tokens and rewards, then the one star dropped its rewards on me for top 50, then the script stopped. No alliance rewards at all for anything and no rewards from easy sub

Was in 2nd overall with 107000 pts at the end. I guess I get to wait forever to get my other stuff

i landed a top 5 in hard and top 25 in easy. the only token of note was a red psylocke.

the first sim on each node w classic spidey is BRUTAL...btw.

no its black panther...

all i have to say is holy **** are these nodes difgicult and **** annoying.

is anyone else getting their whole team wiped left and right?

even if i boost, 1 wrong move and thats all she wrote.

second round was really bad

got 97k points overall, top 50 in easy and top 100 in hard all because i had only one doom cover

in the first round i had 55k overall and was top 10 in both

3 Round should be much better cause of bp

Finished 1 overall after first run, top 5 both subs. This is not going to be fun.

Had 3 event covers and 10 basic tokens from today. As always the girls "poked" them. My oldest hit our first spidey blue from one of them (MUCH REJOICING), and then my youngest hit a freaking green Thor...my last lazy cover needed! (MUCH MUCH REJOICING). I don't know what the odds are of hitting the two green Thor covers out of six event tokens when I only need 2 covers, but I will take it!

Congrats on the nice pulls...especially the blue spidey. Better drop some HP into it so that you can survive this 3rd round.

From what I've read on the forums using a blue spidey may be the kiss of death for event scaling. IceIX even said something about it recently that players using Spidey in the events would see their scaling increase quicker.

thats cool and all and i havent been leaning on my spidey before this third round...but honestly, i was getting my **** handed to me so badly that the only way that i can beat these sims is with my spidey and boosts.

This round of Hard Mode is kicking my ****. I've tried 3 times to get past Thor, Juggernaut and Moonstone, but no luck yet.

This event has become so grindy I'm not worrying too much about timing refreshes, so long as I time to be fully refreshed at the end of the subs. Mission 05 with Storm/Daken/Hulk has given me more trouble then it should. Like 3 times in a row had a nasty cascade that resulted in lots of Daken tiles and Storm or Hulk firing off green. And I notice they keep putting Storm in the desert terrain. Only one of the missions this time, but was both of them in the 2nd sub.


On a positive note got a good number of covers from LR yesterday. Have Hood at 4/4/5 for the upcoming Hood event.
