    Quite easy if you have spidey in your team... not for stun locking but just for spider sense giving you a protect tile on a single purple match. Then Moonstone just moves it around the board doing no damage icon_e_biggrin.gif

    I take back what I said before. Juggs + Snipers was awful. Why, why do Snipers generate green if their power doesn't cost anything?

    2ap Red - Deals around 500 damage. Creates 5 green
    2ap green - destroys middle columns

    This new Rags is perfectly fine. Just a heavy tank...

    6ap Red - Deals 900 damage and creates 4 green
    6ap green - destroys middle colums

    Not to be nitpicky, but Godlike Power has always cost 6ap Green when maxed out. His red was the only thing that was nerfed.

    I've been playing from day 1, so I used to be one of those jerks who ran a constant Rag / C. Storm lineup. Two red matches and you could lightning storm / hammer over and over again. I still use Rags because he's one of my highest level covers, but he's not absurd like he used to be.

    Oh, I know. I was just talking about non-mook matches. Through either Juggs or Ares in with any mook that auto generates green, and it's damn near impossible without boosting Spidey to stun lock the bastard.

    So, we're all basically agreed that 'roid-rage DA + feeder goons is basically the Human Centipede of Thumb-Twiddling Murder. Good, good.

    But yes, Daken's heal and slow Rage animations are annoying as heck. I usually leave Daken for last, and use a Thor power to get the Daken-hurt rollin' (preferably 2-3 Thor powers). Also, since Daken doesn't have any active powers, he's the only DA I'm fine with not killing using Rage of the Panther.

    Saint Matthew: Holy mother of a goat, no wonder Rags was nerfed. Pre-nerf Ragnarok + leprechauns would turn matches into a throw-the-first-pitch spectator sport: do one thing, then put down your phone/tablet and relax while Rags kills you.

    Kappei: Playing buffed Moonstone not-badly (in one of the previous PvEs) involved getting enough red AP for Photon Blast, using some sort of board-clearing power (Thor red/yellow, MStorm red/green, C.Storm green), and waiting for 7-8 red tiles to get on the board.

    You can also give Venom a non-fatal 'Rage - since his strongest colour is Green...(!?)

    And I'm fairly happy to also include Yelena in that group, since her Purple is ridiculously expensive and easy to prevent.

    Thing is...the AI will never fire off two same skills in a row. It seems like...Correct me if I'm wrong....that it will fire all skills it is able to but only once.

    Yeah, each ability gets used only once in a turn, which is a big advantage for attacker. I think it will use abilities a 2nd time if it gets an extra turn though.

    Interesting. I'd never noticed that. I guess I had the misfortune of enemy Rags cascades triggering match-5's and granting extra turns, then, because I've definitely fought Rags 'n leprechauns matches where I literally did nothing while Rags cycled his powers three times each.

    Dreylin: Good call on Venom. I've honestly never thought of Yelena as a true DA in PvE matches. icon_lol.gif

    I was thinking if comp gets extra turn maybe there was a % chance they would use a move again. Maybe the times I see it not its shy an ap or something but I'm usually pretty accurate tracking their moves.
  • As I said before, rags with venom and a purple-generating goon is the worst I've found, constant symbiote snare with cascade means the moves get spammed over and over with no chance of retaliation. It's basically the only way for your team to get totally stunlocked by the AI.
