    Oh Lord.

Just finished sub 2 in third place. Took twenty minutes longer than the 48 hour sub because of the wave nodes. The number of wave repeats has to come down.

    5:41 clear time.

The scaling is utterly ridiculous. My highest level character is a boosted Iron Fist at 273. I'm currently 6 fights in on the Keep Watch fight (the easiest of the hard nodes) and its now reached 310. What the hell is going on? Do these people learn nothing?

Why the hell are we guinea pigs to this game when they just undo everything we've asked them to change!

Can someone please confirm whether or not partially completing a wave node and then dying decreases the max score you can achieve in the sub?

I suppose this was always the case even under the usual PvE system. But it still stupid that a partial complete is actually worse than if you get wiped in the 1st wave

In case no one has answered (many more pages followed) I failed a number of wave nodes at different stages and have now ckeared all nodes at the same level as 21 ahead of me

Sub 2 is somehow more miserable than day 1.
We have 24 hours to clear this, and one of the nodes is a 5 wave node!!!!!! With 9 clears available!! 45 waves to clear a single node out of 10. Whoever came up with this idea clearly has no concept of what anybody would find entertaining. Not to mention that there is still an infuriating delay after countdown timer placement.

I still liked that wave node better than the penultimate one with wolverine and feeders, you can get control with a wave node, but a bad board or unlucky cascade and you are eating a stupid amount of adamantium slashes.

I haven't minded the higher number of repeats... It has allowed me to play around and learn more about my hero's abilities.

Did things with some very varied teams I rarely play with so that's my massive positive out of this....

Even as I approach day 500 of playing learning more tricks always a great thing

I completed the last gauntlet, before they changed the difficulty. For me that was the best solo PVE I've played for a while. Sometimes I had to repeat the same node 5 or 6 times, had to use boosts in some of the fights, and some unusual team compositions. That was EXCELLENT fun and I was waiting for my heals to be available so that I could try to beat the unbeatable level again. It didn't feel like a grind, it felt like a challenge.

Yesterday I was up until 4am trying to clear the Iron Fist 5 wave node 9 freakin times. If they want us to play for 5 or 6 hours straight, at least make it fun to play...

Why is scaling jumping up with each chapter? Shouldn't scaling remain consistent throughout each sub. I'm guessing level 700 opponents by the last day on easy nodes.

And yay for the return of lesser rewards. Grinding for 70 iso and critical boosts on a 5 wave node **** ****...I rather go back to the old system where my scaling was static and I grind for nothing.

Fun vacuums, fun vacuums I tells you.

I'm really not looking forward to having to grind level 300 Gorgon's 9 times.

On my 1st clear 5 wave node gave me rewards for each wave cleared. On 2nd clear, I got only one reward. Working as intended?

With the requirement to grind through all the nodes quickly for placement, and increased number of clears needed, this test pve is desperately boring and feels like a chore, not a way to pass the time.

Iso is good. Thank you for that.

Into day 2. Interest is waning, but I'm sticking with this **** because I can, and because there are enough rewards/ISO to retain my interest just enough to play it more.

    Thought:

Why are we having to play the hard nodes more? The easy nodes are what keep us interested.

If anything, keep the rewards open longer on the easy nodes than on the hard nodes and just scale the stupid hard nodes a little faster if you're that bent on keeping people from getting everything, even if the ISO rewards are a little more paltry. The hard nodes are distinctly unfun.

My highest character, boosted or otherwise, is 4Thor at level 271. My nodes top out at 330-350 on the hardest nodes.

However, I have a functional winfinite. You aren't keeping me from getting all the points or grinding the hard nodes. You're just making me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

I do like in this setup that can play a lot but also don't like the same that have to play a lot to get into top 100... mayor time consumer... Also please don't offer bad rewards in harder nodes (like 70-100 iso8, std token)

    Grind fatigue is setting in.

This is your story mode. LESS IS MORE.

Can you not give us a story centric story mode for us to clear each day like a Daily Deadpool, then make a ridiculous grind fest into a seperate play option?

You could build around placement rewards in a seperate Endurance mode, instead of trying to shoehorn everything into one mode that people are getting sick of.

I think we all knew that this event was going to bog down in terrible fights as it went on. EotS has always been a problem, with the ninjas and wave nodes and Gorgon. The lack of the timer kinda makes it a lot easier to address those problems, though.

The wave nodes could grant rewards for every wave. 15 clears doesn't sound so bad when it's just 15 waves. In fact, that almost sounds better than a normal node.

The super challenging fights still have the problem of being a bit too ubiquitous. Not a lot - I don't mind there being hard fights in the game, but the last few nodes might benefit from making them increase level on an exponential curve with the same start and end point, instead of a linear one, so that the last one or two nodes are the only really hard ones. Would help with making it feel like an achievement rather than a grind.

I really don't like the design of very difficult wave nodes, though. Spending 20 minutes grinding away at Teiatsus and Kishus only to get Slashed into oblivion from infinite feeder goons is not my idea of entertainment. Wave nodes can be interesting in theory, but there needs to be some care in how they're designed so they don't become horrible slogs. Also, Caltrops goes against enough of the game's tenets that I don't understand how it was ever put into the game. The whole idea behind having goons in the game is that they have countdowns you can react to, because you have superpowers and they don't. Caltrops breaks that fantasy in an annoying way, and aside from that is stupidly overpowered. Matching away countdowns is fun. It makes you feel like you're dancing through bullets. It's why the Puzzle Quest formula worked. Breaking that is a terrible idea. I don't love Turn to Smoke (and Venom goons, too, for that matter) for similar reasons, but it doesn't break the fantasy nearly as much. It's like someone said "Hey, people are pretty comfortable handling countdown tiles in lots of ways now. How can we utterly redefine goons so that everything they like about the gameplay they create goes away?"

You have to wonder how many health packs their selling to those determined to get into the top 10/50.

I gave up with some of the nodes on sub 2. Some only have 7 clears, and I actually dont care. This is by far the worst test they've run. These people need firing cause they have no idea what fun actually is.

The old system works, all of these subsequent tests have not.

The closest you came to something faintly playable and enjoyable was in the last Rocket and Groot test.

This is incredibly boring and tiresome. Don't get me wrong I like the extra rewards but I have a wife, a son and a life to lead alongside MPQ and this system is a fundamentally flawed time-hole of misery.

Please stop messing around and stick to the old system. It wasn't broken you do not need to fix it.

In my case, zero. 8th overall, tied with 1st

In previous feedback, I requested less clears, not more!

The time sink is now beyond reasonable.

I was able to do it only because it's the weekend, but I'd like to do other things with my life too.

I hate the "race" aspect of this test. Even though the "timers" don't exist, you are in fact racing every other player to make the top spots with the exact same score. Not fair at all that people who do the same work get different rewards on a first come, first served basis.
