then OML just heals through anything and his black makes short work of the rest.

This is really one of the main things to take from this though. One of the main reasons for lack of diversity is OML is just incredibly powerful (read: broken) compared to the rest of the older 4*'s, and until the other 5*'s are brought up to his power or (more easily) he is brought down, you'll continue to see nothing but the same teams.

450 certainly makes the game very boring - hopefully their upcoming changes do something to help diversity. But I have no faith that OML won't be in 85% of matches a year from now unless that character itself is dramatically changed.

    He seriously needs hosing.

He's far from unbeatable, which may have confused the devs unto thinking he isn't a problem, but he's GOOD AT EVERYTHING. They could really do with tweaking him so he's a specialist and not God-Emperor of MPQ.

Cool, my hardest node in The Simulator (War Machine/Quicksilver/Kamala) has scaled to level 333, so maxing OML only shouldn't have too much impact on my scaling. Seems like a good path to take then, I'll make sure to have enough ISO and CP in reserve to max Phoenix if needed though.
Don't forget your OML will be locked out of the first half of Enemy of the State and the scaling would include him.

Yeah, that really was the icing on the cake of the last run of EotS, for me. Had to level Silver Surfer a bunch to cover (weakly) the gap.

I forgot to mention; I'm starting to see some variation, now, as more people get Goblin and Spidey maxed out. Perhaps that will increase as other 5*s are championed. And maybe Surfer will get buffed into being a competitive choice again.

I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. My fourstars are edging towards level 400 when boosted, so I trust I can manage, though I may grind less.

The only people I see who have Goblin/Spidey maxed are the mega-whales (or maybe the mega-lucky).

With the dilution of characters in tokens, the average player will -NEVER- get many of the new characters maxed out: those first three or four (when there were only a few in tokens) will be what we see for a long time (ever).

And when I see one of them, guess who I see paired with them? Yep, I think you got it!

I'm hoping we eventually get at least one of each cover in game somewhere. Add a little luck, and a ton of CP, we newbies CAN have fully covered 5*s :p
