    Not sure what my scores were. I was walking along the beach in the last hour. Still playing though when I could. My wife wasn't impressed. I know I got top 5 in hard and top 10 in easy. At least I came first in the LT tournament with 816 points.

    6 tokens netted me 5 2* and 1 red wolverine 4* which I didn't have.

    On hood tournament note. I spent 2.5k hp on my last 2 blue covers. He's now 5/5/3 and level 75. I brought my c.mag from 50-70 getting my villain core in line. C.mag/hood/doom

    At least you have gotten SOMETHING decent. Opened 3 more highly trained tokens and got 3 blue Hawkeyes. Which makes all 2*s so far from 10 highly trained tokens and 8 heroics since this simulator started.

    Thanks, good idea. Pumped all my Iso into him from our combined efforts and maxed him out for my covers at 79...cool thing is got him at 2/5/1...his blue (5 for me) in my opinion is really his most useful color, so I think I may be deceptively powerful with him. I am aiming for the top in this one.

    Good! I checked Your roster lately and I think You made very big progress icon_e_smile.gif

    I decided to use S.H.I.E.L.D tactic and will grind in short intervals, then shield. Right now I'm #1 with 506pts. Looks like easy bracket. I'll try to push for the Hood cover at 1100 (at which I'll fail probably) - but in order to do it I think I need a really good defensive team, so that people would skip me. Hood will get as many lvls as possible (already got 40, so he's at 90), Punisher is 141, I'm thinking OBW (deadly duo with Hood) or Hulk 120. Probably the latter.

    EDIT: Won retaliation, so I'm at 522 icon_e_smile.gif Hood fights are totally unpredictable icon_e_smile.gif

    I'm #4 with total of 170366pts. 3k pts before #1.

    Decided to clear Normal Mode, as I got full rubberbanding. Currently #5 in Normal.
    Looks like Hard will got his rubber on pretty soon too.

    This. Amazing stuff. Well done all! I checked in on the alliance standing occasionally in the last hour and knew we were doing well, but was busy trying to grind out as many points as possible. I didn't know we were doing that well. I ended top #2 in hard and top #5 in easy, top #50 in LOT, and ended the evening with 169k in the main bracket.

    I'm looking forward to the Hood tournament. I've played the last few tournaments mainly to help the alliance/get the iso and wasn't using shields since I had the covers. With BP covers I expect it to be a lot more competitive and will be doing my best to get all three covers.

    Depends on team you play, 5 green is the suicide version, only works if you end the turn right there through ability spam or stunlock.

    3/5/5 is best all around build. 5 green only works with stun locking spider man or magneto spam

    Consistently high ranking (currently 7 overall in simulator) and in a small alliance but looking for one more organised and (not to be too cocky) more at my level.

    Just broke 200k in Simulator, red Daredevil secured. Pace is definitely picking up, you might not want to wait too long to join in or doing all the missions will no longer get you back to top.

    Lazy Thor is a real killer in this round in case he's somewhat developed. I'm running him together with Hood (to get AP faster) and Spidey (spectator mode only). Feels like one of those old Bud Spencer movies, the bad guys get a beating they won't forget, accompanied by a lot of "Smack!", "Thud!", "Whack!" sound effects. My scaling is probably going to skyrocket.

    I joined 4-5 hours ago, the points are pretty high and the levels yet mild, I though they will go up quicker.
    Did only a few games stopped 5k from top in both subs around 30th place while taking back #1 in combined by more than 10k (192k total, just playing on would really cross the 200k line but I keep it for the night.)

    LT works surprisingly good and definitely waaays better than BP in the last round despite less levels and covers. I'd really like to get more of him soon.

    Although there are a lot of ways to abuse Berserker Rage, it's not like it's not usable even if you have no clever trick. Simply doing a Berserker Rage when you have a good cascade or a match 5 available will take out at least one guy and that can give you a very considerable edge. I really don't get why you'd ever have 3 in Berserker Rage because you might as well use The Punisher instead (420 versus 300 strike tiles, but no drawbacks for The Punisher). For that matter, The Punisher combos rather well with Berserker Rage. A Molotov after a Berserker Rage should cripple any team and two should definitely take out any team.

    The value of his yellow is not the ability to tank. Patch pretty much only dies in situation where he took massive amount of damage in one round, or really extended playing. In the first case regen doesn't help, and the latter case anyone else with him is going to use up your health packs first. I run Magneto/Patch/featured character and Patch rarely needs any health packs before the other two requires 5. In particular whoever is featured is likely to be tanking at least 3 if not 4 colors and will be eating up your health packs if you're going without Spiderman, and regen is irrelevnt with Spiderman around. His yellow's value is to force the other team to match what used to be a dead color before Thor 3* arrived. You're not going to lose to anybody if they just keep on match yellow because there's literally no useful yellow ability in the game in the 3* range until Thor arrived, so you're safe to leave all the yellow matches up for your regen, knowing that if the enemy matched those yellow they pretty much skipped their turn. Of course, now with Thor around, yellow is suddenly a very powerful color and you can't just leave yellow up, so this does mean you've to reevaluate how you use Patch.

    I will definitely go 535 with Patch. Thanks to LoT I already respec'd him to 544. My experience when fighting against him - Rage is very simple to control. And can wipe out entire team in 2-3rounds. Suicidal? No, but obviously it can cripple your team.

    Ok, other stuff:

    Unholy Outlaw - I grinded another 100pts and I'm still #1 with 609pts. Another push in 3hrs time.

    Simulator Normal - #70. I'll grind it in the morning (9hrs from now).

    Simulator Hard - full rubberbanding, so it's time to join and grind it.

    Berserker Rage feels suicidal because a lot of the time you have to use it very early when an enemy has a devastating move ready like Aggresive Recon. Maybe you kill OBW but they pull a good cascade and then you lose. But if you just take the Aggressive Recon you're even more likely to die. At least with Berserker Rage it almost always removes the guy that was threatening to do a major move, as opposed to just take that move. Yes sometimes you're better off just taking the move, but there are very few situations I can think of where taking a Rage of the Panther/Aggressive Recon/Call the Storm would leave you in a better position than using Berserker Rage to kill that guy and accept the consequences.

    Red is kind of overkill for PvP so having 3 there is probably okay, especially with Thor emerging as a powerful character whose red and yellow are both stronger than Patch at the same level, which reduces the likelihood of getting the full mileage out of The Best There Is. I use Patch for almost all my PvE stuff though, and in there being able to hit something for 8000 damage actually is not a matter of overkill but often a matter of life and death.
