    Now I have maxed Punisher and lvl 125 cMagneto (buffed to lvl 248) so getting covers is not that hard since basically no one will attack me if I get my mmr low enough before seriously competing in lightning rounds. I think I started competing (and not just farming iso) in lightning rounds when I had gotten enough covers for my cmags to not be totally useless in a team. I think I had something like 100punisher/100Spider-man/89cMags team and I only competed in magneto rounds until I got more covers for him. My tips for doing good in lightning rounds:

    1. Get one villain into a decent level and have a good team that can support him. Then only play on that villains rounds.
    2. Lower your mmr by by tanking. Other lightning rounds are perfect for this. Personally I play against seed teams until I get to 100 points and then win against one **** seed team with worst possible team you can have. You have to do this as soon as the round starts so you actually get the seed teams and have more time for other players to attack you and lower your mmr.
    3. Play in odd hours so the competition is not that tough.
    4. You pretty much have to play the whole 1.5 hours.

    One thing I found incredibly useful regarding MMR. If there's a tournament running simultaneously with the LR, and you tank it right before starting the LR you hope to be competitive in, you'll start getting defeats from the other event while you're racking up victories in the LR, keeping your MMR in balance.

    Also consider shields for the last minutes as you may get -40 hits dragging to nowehere territory, certainly climbers will go ahead.

    As for the order, it's alphabetical (Doom-Loki-Magneto-Ragnarok-The Hood), but you can use a mnemonic to remember the order: MR HiDDLeston (Magneto, Ragnarok, The Hood, Doctor Doom, Loki). Found that beauty somewhere here on the forums icon_e_biggrin.gif

    I never use anybody but the five buffed villains. After I finish leveling Hood up (he's at I think 52nd now, and can go to I think 66th), everyone will be between 66th and 76th level.

    I find that a score of 300 is usually enough to at least get a diabolical token (and usually better) in LR unless activity is extremely high. Even though you're at a range where you don't lose full points, the LRs last so short that it really doesn't matter because if you're sitting at 300 and got hit for -20 by a guy with 100 points, you're going to often fall 50 places so the fact that you only lost 20 points isn't really meaningful, and you certainly won't be finding very many guys that's worth 20 points if you've 300.
