    I was shooting for top 8 for a blue also , mags blue is all I'm missing villain wise. I fell short due to health packs and a crazy mmr. Fell down to a diabolical and got a pink mags. Close but no cookie.

    Psyko pls don't lose to me again I'm trying to land top 50 D: My Hood doesn't need blue or black anymore, so I don't want to infringe on other people's chances for covers.

    update: meh red Wolverine** instead of any villain cover I actually need (except blue and black for Hood). A day of tanking for naught.

    gah, that's mean....I was aiming for a diabolical token and some bloke hit and lost to me in the last minute...now I got another mags, lol....

    Boosted Magneto is a beast. Finished 10th and finally have him maxed at 5-3-5 and level 100. Now I dont now if I want to inject more ISO or wait till the nerf.

    This morning I joined the round too late. I was just getting ISO and saw you on my MMR when you were at 7th place, so I lost the match on purpose ... too bad you didnt make it.

    If you're tanking a round, you might enjoy trying something I've done that's made for some giggle-inducing fights. When you've finished getting points are getting ready to attack the last remaining level 1/2/default character fight, try going in with Daredevil (if you have a low level one) and using *only* his sausage drop to take out the enemies, and no skills from other characters. I have a level 18 Daredevil, level 13 Bullseye, which makes for a good tank team. Bullseye's protect tiles take a little heat off while you wait for the enemy to set off the traps, and knowing that the last thing the enemy sees is his package slamming into his or her face is worth a bit of mirth.

    I have a date with a Mag lightning round tomorrow morning. At least I think it goes Mag -> Loki right? Normally its Loki at that time but we are a cycle behind.

    MMR is insanely low, haven't participated in one round yet that I didn't tank. Need 4 mag covers, all types.

    Lost my final battle due to the enemy team getting a 2000+ damage cascade three turns in a row, then exiting the battle to see I'd been attacked for -30 twice. Went from ~40th place to 209th place.

    What can ya do but laugh? Oh, lightning rounds.

    I appreciate the assist. 9th place is still is a ton better than I had ever done before on a Magneto round.

    I pulled my first-ever Hood Round top 8 this morning, getting my first black cover and getting the character to 2/4/1. He was 0/1/0 like 10 days ago.

    He's come up on my match list a few times and his points indicate he should be 2nd.
    But he's not in the table and he's in an alliance. (AgentsofAtlas)

    Yes! DD is now on my preferred punching bag team of choice. I don't try to only do damage with his red, but it seems to work out that way quite a bit. So fun. icon_e_smile.gif

    I haven't had to attack a single real player, and I'm at 250 from people losing on offense, including a certain someone who's currently #7. Hopefully I don't get bumped down 'cause I'd like to get my last Loki cover.

    What kind of team comp you guys are using to get into cover placement? Asking out of curiosity since until now I've just been using LRs as iso and standard token sources and tanking rounds.

    If your MMR is low, you can do moderately well with any 2* team. Well enough to grab a Diabolical token or a single cover. Lightning Rounds are a matter of getting a foot in the door. Once you've got a powered-up villain to a respectable level, you're in the mix. I recommend going after Doom. Mags rounds are insanely competitive, Loki and Rags aren't super useful, and Hood's best abilities aren't affected by power up. Doom's black ability is incredibly powerful when boosted, and he will help you become competitive in the other rounds as well.

    Loki and Rags rounds are the least competitive though and you stand a good chance of doing well in those.
