    What works for node 37?

    Deadpool/Loki/hood
I just beat that handily with OML/Cyke/IM40.

The real problem are the nodes that lock out OML and/or Cyke.

Let me rephrase, what works with a 3-4 transition team?

Looks like you can do winfinite. I cleared it with mine, managed to down loki before his steal tiles could trigger.

    Same here.

Does anyone have the composition (who you're facing) of the 3rd Beast essential in Sub 3? Thank you :3

Sim 38 - Iceman, SW and Mostorm (all buffed to 453 and my first deadly node) - any suggestions? It seems like I have to take Iceman out first, but if Mostorm gets off a Hailstorm I'm screwed. On top of that, leaving SW to last means one of my guys is inevitably getting a 5-turn stun to the face.

I did sim 38 and sim 39 with OBW, Loki and Patch and basically never let them fire any power but mine were only 339

So glad I finished all the nodes in sub3 this morning then...and then finished the essential characters of sub 2 and sub 1 just now before seeing this.

I can't seem to beat 40. Which is a shame because it's the very last node I need to finally pick up Squirrel Girl.

I've tried Hulk bombing and AP stealing with Hood/OBW, and I've gotten pretty close, but I can't seem to get there. Any advice (for a 3* roster)?

I finished most nodes with these teams. Hope it helps:

    Cap + OBW + IM40
Focusing on blue so you can stun the opponents and put a protect tile up as soon as possible. OBW and IM40 will make sure that you always have red and blue for Cap. After a while, your protect tile will negate most damage so you can switch to OBW's blue for healing. Cap's red is this team's main damage dealing ability but you can switch to IM40 red too to finish an enemy off.

    Kamala Khan + She-Hulk + IM40
You can keep using She-Hulk green to drain the opponent's AP pool while healing at the same time. You almost always have a way to get green AP with this team, from IM40 yellow and KK's purple. Don't use KK green since your goal is to survive as long as possible, so put 5 in yellow and purple and leave green 3 would be the best IMO. She-Hulk's red is the main source of damage. She's good at getting rid of annoying CD and special tiles as well.

    Hulk + KK
The scaling makes enemy's match damagebso high that it activates Hulk's anger almost all the time. I use Hulk's green instead of KK to keep Hulk's health up. Just keep the Anger -> Slap cycle up until you slap all of them to oblivion.

guys, it is no way we can finish those level 3xx monsters if they fire their ability first. So we need to STEAL their AP with Loki and BW. And we need a lot of protection tiles, otherwise we will get killed by match damage only.

so Loki, patch and original BW IS THE BEST team here.

Try your "best" team on Sim 34. Level 384 Loki, KK and Cyclops : ) ..

They have mopped the floor so many times with me it isnt even funny.

I can't, because the cpu use loki (it is in fact#35). I can't remember the team I used for this one.

Anyway I have already used the Loki + Patch + OBW team to finish all regular nodes without a single whale (of course excluding those with the same characters), very easily in fact.

Will try the essential nodes. Luckily Loki is one of the essentials.

I agree that, those nodes that can't use this team are not funny.

    thanks!

I will try them out icon_e_smile.gif

another team I use in Cap + IM40 + KK, once you have a couple of yellow match to get going, then you could have frequently healings, protection tiles, stuns and red shield attacks.

Glad they're re-tuning this, The Gauntlet is my favourite event and I just hit a red node at Sim 23 - lvl 348's. Hate to thing what levels the final node of Global Donination would be...

I can't remember which I used for this one but my main teams for the 3rd gauntlet (320-360) were:

KK (5/3/5), Cap Marvel and Vision/Cap America (depending if i wanted more AOE or single target).
Marvel tanks, makes red/black, and stuns. Esp good for high levels or with enemy strike/attack tiles as she makes AP every turn. Keep Vision's yellow out in between blues for defence and KK heals.

    Phoenix, GSBW, SWitch
Even a 1 cover Phoenix works as she tanks all but blue for the other 2 and does double their match damage.
Witch feeds BW's deceptive tactics which counts as Phoenix' match damage. Line up a chain with a crit tile for ~8k dmg. Use up those crit boosts. Best I got was 11k.
Sniper rifle gets rid of annoying tiles.

    Patch, Loki, OBW
Steal all their AP and cripple them while churning out strike and protect tiles. Matches on OBW's colours do double damage.
Took out lvl 350 JG, Hulkbuster and Thor (~25k life each) with this team after wiping with everything else.
A fun variant for less threatening matches is P, L and Squirrel Girl. SG's purple does ~8k dmg when cast after Patch's green

This. So much this! Was struggling with the last node of Alpine tactics and this helped me clean up!

Where are the devs? I'm at sim 27 and it is impossible. They are all level 329! I have one character(logan) at 330. My next full color player is x-force wolverine at 238! Then, steve rodgers at 185!

    BROKEN!
    OML/Steve Rodgers/Loki.

Get Rodgers blue stun going, Loki should help reduce cascades by Thor/Cyclops. Try to keep OML in front as much as possible through black/yellow/red/team up tiles.

I just wanted to say that this team up was amazing. It was not an intuitive combo at all for me at first, but it dominated and took almost no thinking. I guess Loki's theft and optional reversal powers, cap to stun and hit, plus OML tanking and healing plus black attack tiles was just devastating. Going to screenshot this team and keep it in my favorites list.

Glad there should be a retune today. I have been chugging along with Hood & Squirrel Girl supporting 4* Thor or Hulkbuster; up to the end of Alpine Tactics now but it has been health pack sapping.

I want to emphasize a very usable 3* team, GSBW/Lcap/IM40. It's brought me further than I thought it would, even against ridiculous scaling. (I had reached sim38 when the patch hit)

Fire IM's yellow to generate tons of AP, feeding into LCap shields and GSBW's sniper/tactics. Stun tactically with Lcaps blue and watch your enemies drop down before you. And you *will* need to play tactically to protect as much of Lcap's (and IM's) countdowns as you can, while also leaving room to fire GSBW's sniper efficiently when you have gained enough green. Because opponents will typically have enough HP to eat 3-6 of LCap's red shields.

On Global Domination I started using +3 yellow boosts on some nodes to get the AP generation train going, so I would need only one yellow match (read: lessen the chance of the RNG to screw you over xD). And if you hit a bad board you will still lose if your opponents happen to gather enough AP for their powers. Because when meeting oversized scaling many big hitting powers will mostly oneshot you.

IM40/Torch/KK works as well. You cover all colors, get a strong AoE with KK's green that gets charged by IM's yellow and KK's purple, or a long-burning Flame Jet if you choose to use Torch's green, and you get quick healing through IM's yellow and Torch's red. You probably won't use Torch's black but it's there if you need it. Finally a nuke in IM's red (assuming 5 covers) and a mediocre AoE in his blue (assuming 3).

Scaling feels much better now, so thanks for that. Opposing characters are about 75 levels lower than they were, and it feels like an appropriate level of difficulty. I still won't finish because, sadly, I don't have a Venom, but hey, what can you do?

I beat Sim 40 before the patch hit, and honestly it was freakishly difficult but I'm kinda proud of myself for managing it, since getting Squirrel Girl was my goal for the event. That said, I wouldn't have bothered even slightly if there hadn't been a fairly perfect storm of coincidences to make me want to do it: I had the whole week off of work, the 3* rewards matched up perfectly with holes in my roster, the way the rewards were structured meant that I could grind out SG and go back to pick up Beast from Sub 2, and that meant that the DDQ required node with Beast was also doable. If any of that at all had not been true, I wouldn't have considered spending the whole day grinding the event, but it all was true, so I guess you got me.

Now that levels are lower I guess I can try Hulkbombing my way through the last handful of missions for the HT champ cover and grind out the remaining CPs, which will be nice to be able to do for once.
