anyone reached CW round 8 yet?

I know many alliances are at round 7 (yay huge boss match damage!), but I haven't heard of anyone on round 8. I think my own alliance will get there after the next refresh in about 3.5 hours. But I am also sure were aren't the best around.

Are we thinking about 50k health for the bosses, with 1500-2000 match3 damage for their strong color?

    Just about to.

Are PR even possible? I'm at 600K, about halfway, we pretty much on round 8, and its tinykitty hard already!

How much health do the bosses have in round 8?

There are 7 refreshes left. So health x 5 (matches per refresh) x 7 (total refreshes) = the max available points (with a few more from sub nodes and the odd 6-clear round from waiting for the central pin to unlock). So that's 2.1 million total (with a bit more for perfect play). But I don't know how achievable and sustainable it is to beat him 5 times every refresh.

Is that enough to get 1.22 mil? Seems like there is a strong incentive to finish at least 1 refresh early. That would be enough time for a dedicated alliance to get to round 5ish on the other side for another 4* cover. But getting the final prog reward early would probably take priority.

My Alliance just did. Last couple people finishing up the last refresh. Looking good to clear 8 I think. Maybe even start on cap's side. We'll see.

So it's 1800 damage for yellow on a match 3.

61k health too, but the good news is that the abilities are underpowered. Red only does 5 or 6k, and blue is basically useless without allies.

As for prog rewards, I did one full clear of round 8 (6 clears as I waited for the central node to clear) and an already at 1million. So the final prog should be available in the next refresh. Them I will have to motivate myself to keep grinding for the rest of the round.

Oh, and 9 mil health for the whole round. So that's what, 30 full clears across all 20 team members. So top alliances should be finishing after the next refresh. Will there be enough time for someone to finish both sides?

So is it actually possible to finish both events? We are in round 8 and he has 5.2 million health left with 2d 2h left (1d 10h into event). So at 61k health x 5 battles every 8 hours is 300k per person, x 20 people is 6 million.....or one more 8 hour clear. So by 1d 18h in we could be finished with 1d 16h left. Anyone do the math on this?

I should hit max progression at the next refresh as well.....I think it makes sense to just switch to the other one once I hit max right???

I think it makes sense to be sure that your alliance can get through round 8, but as soon as that is certain, everyone should switch to the other side after hitting the max prog.

I don't think there is quite enough time for anyone to get through everything twice (i think it takes six clears and there are only 11 in the whole event), but I expect the top alliances will get to round 6 or 7 on the second event.

My alliance is mired in round 6. Can no longer beat the boss, at best drain 50% of their health. We're still a 3-star team. These big events really only pay off for people in the 4-star range, especially now that they no longer have event tokens as rewards in nodes and boss battles.

You are less than halfway done, switch to the other event and get through round 5 there as well. That's four 4* covers from 2 characters in 3 days. That sounds pretty damn good for a 3* roster.......

This! If round six is slowing your alliance down then jumping to the other side for the low-hanging 4* covers Is the way to go.

In fact this system is my idea for how most PVEs should be. I don't mean boss battles and the such, I mean fixed difficulty that means that each tier of players can only possibly get so far before difficulty becomes crippling and at that point they got all rewards /relevant/ to their station.

Yeah, with some very very minor tweaks to scaling (smooth out that spike into a more gradual increase) I think this could be a great template for all events. It's certainly a lot better than the last string of "tests" that were run recently.

Yeah I haven't seen this much inter alliance coordination in awhile. Big thumbs up to this format

S.H.I.E.L.D just completed round 8 playing Team Cap. Now to see how far we can get in Team Iron Man side.

My go-to team against boss Iron Man - thing(boosted)\xfdp\JG (no viable 5* for me)
