Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question so please move if not... My alliance is struggling to understand how the alliance/team selection is going to work.

Do we, as an alliance ALL have to choose the same team?

Will doing so assist in getting better results?

Or when you joined do you get randomly blocked into a group of 20?

Reading this in the event info it could be either.

    Thanks in advance
The alliance system should work the same as for the Ultron and Galactus events, so reading the info for that should help clarify better.

    As I understand it:

No, you can split up if you like. One player could also do some Iron Man and some Cap missions if you want. The only thing to be aware of is that finishing a mission for Iron Man locks the corresponding Cap mission too and vice versa.

Yes. Both sides have their own scoreboards, so if everyone focuses on one side you'll be able to reach the later/better rewards on that scoreboard.

No, you just need to confirm you want to join the event for your current Alliance. Keep in mind that if more than 20 players join the event for your Alliance, the late joiners are put into a new Group instead of joining the first 20.

I have a question, if I start to play the Civil War event with my current alliance I can change to a different one to claim the extra-cover and return to my current alliance without problems? icon_question.gif

When you start Civil War you get locked into the alliance scoreboard and any points you earn go to that alliance.
You can leave the alliance to get PvP rewards from a different alliance, but you can only get Civil War rewards from one alliance.

They said the characters from the "other team" won't be locked out, they just won't be boosted. Also, you'll probably run into some nodes where they are locked out because you're fighting against them.

The number of points for receiving rewards is irrelevant at this point because we have no indication of what the total available points are for full clears, to know how feasible it is to achieve. At least wait until we have an idea of point values before plunging into our negative zone.

Personal progression maxes at 1.25 million ish.
You need the entire alliance over 1 million each to hit this, even assuming some inflation for scoring it's (obviously) much tougher than Galactus.. apart from You're suppose to lose Galactus.

9 million final round is on par with Ultron round 2 when they were "giving" out HB for any alliance that hit it perfectly. Only two alliances finished it iirc?

So, just to clarify, but with a specific example. My alliance is Team Iron Man, but I don't have Mr Fantastic, so that node isn't available to me to play, this means that the Sam Wilson node for Team Cap is open.

So my question is, if I play that node, for this round, will it have any effect on my alliance or my scoring ability overall or for the next round (let's say hypothetically I draw a mr fantastic while trying to get a 5* IM and want to use him next time a Mr Fantastic node comes up in a future round)?

Beating the falcap node will unlock both boss battles and let you keep working on Boss Cap. All you'll "miss" is the points you scored on the falcap node will only be applied to the Team Cap event.

The MrF node will unlock as normal the next time there's a scheduled refresh. If you have MrF at that time, you'll be able to play his node in Team IM.
