    Ugh, nopenopenopenope. I just proved to myself that even maximum grinding without Miles is not gonna get me top50 placement rewards in a sub and while theoretically I could torture myself for 7 days for top100 in the event... meh. I'll pass. See you in a few months, Winter Soldier cover icon_neutral.gif

    Am I just imagining things here? I could've sworn that when previewing rewards there was only a single red winter soldier cover with varying amounts of iso( I think 5000 for top placement) plus hp and cp. when I actually started it seemed the regular formula, more covers for higher ranks.

    I think you were looking at the Alliance rewards. 1st in alliance rewards is 1 red cover, 5000 iso, & 250 hp.

    Its easy to hit the wrong tab & mix them up.

    Ranked 5th on my event, but who should I use on the high nodes against Juggernaut!? I hate his abilities especially his shake up green hit.
    Been using Hulk to take away his green and red, but his health gets regenarated so quickly by the lieutenant and daken (green gets them a strike tile)

    Prioritize red (and character who can use it in turn) and then stun, stun, stun until your daddy takes your t-bird away. Got a 2* Storm or even 1* widow? Iceman is ideal due to his buff this event but he's not exactly raining down from tokens. If not keep using Hulk to tank those hits while letting a high damage green character use that excess green AP to fire back.

    And target the lieutenant 1st first, not Juggs.

    In my case I have been using IM40, Loki and Human Torch.

    At first, I focus on getting yellowtile.png and greentile.png , ignoring Daken. If yellowtile.png is difficult to align, then I align purpletile.png to feed Loki's shuffle and get those yellowtile.png, especially if the Lieutenant's healing CD appears.

    I charge with IM40 yellowflag.png , then quickly eliminate the Lieutenant using HT greenflag.png and redflag.png . HT redflag.png gets rid of redtile.png (and Daken strike tiles), making it difficult for Juggs to use his red power.

    Once the Lieutenant is down, I deny greentile.png and redtile.png and attack Juggernaut. To finish it off, I may end up having enough AP to use HT or Loki blackflag.png as well as IM40 blueflag.png .

    It doesn't hurt that all those characters are buffed...

    Thanks guys,

    Dt --> my IM40 and Torch are only level 190 (buffed)
    So ill guess I keep using OML to take a lot of hits, and use Captain marvel (245) and Hulk (221)
    I also try to use Doom --> as his blue takes all off dakens blue away!

    But targeting the Lieutenant 1st helps a lot!

    wow it looks like just the top 7 in my bracket will get 80,000 pts love noob brackets ... I can take the entire last day off and keep my top 10.

    im 80k with two days left and im barely holding top 100. ill be glad when this dreary mess is over.

    I'm only at 61k with a little over 2 days left, and hovering around top 50. PVE is such a mixed bag every event. You can bust your **** for 7 days and not make top 50, or you can miss clears and slack off at the end and wind up in the top 20.

    I've been hovering around 50-60 the whole event, I'm lucky my schedule has been a little different this week so I've been hitting all three refreshes.

    All I want is Bucky. I haven't tried this hard at an event yet, I'm usually more of a casual player.

    So I'm a big fan of the character and a newish player who doesn't have a 3* Juggernaut.

    I'm excited.

    I envy your bracket. I'm fighting to stay around 50th place at 83K points.

    Sitting in 78th with 65K and a day and a half to go. Should be able to get the 80K and a top 100 for Bucky

    I'm at #67 with 93k and 26h left. Will finish top 100, maybe top 50.

    Two questions: Why the random Punisher required node? Seems like a relic from the first time the event ran.

    Did anything ever happen with the Victoria Hand reference at the end? Was looking through Marvel wikis since I stopped reading right after Secret Invasion but it seems like the whole Hulk event is non-canon and he was stuck as Banner for most (all?) of Dark Reign.

    hulk event is great for farming. it just blows as an event you have to be competitive in. i'll be so glad to be done with this tonight. if WM is a 7-day, sorry Rhodes, not playing to t20 on a 7-day again unless its a very special character.

    Ditto. I ended up 14th with 133,564 points and as much fun as it was to finally use Iceman in a Xpool/IM40 team, I was ready for this to be over on Monday. Just a slog with the Civil War carrot looming on the horizon. With our luck tho, they'll release War Machine with a Venom Bomb event.
