I'm currently running 5/4/4, and I have mixed feelings about it. While its nice to have a 3AP red, if you have another red user (such as Punisher), you're not going to be using it often. I have been using purple relentlessly though, and it's doing a ridiculous amount of work, so having 5 purple feels a lot more optimal right now. The one advantage of going 5/4/4 is that it hedges against C. Mag's nerfing, so I'd probably do it just so that its easier to switch builds. One downside to this theory is that purple is probably going to be C. Mag's dominant color postnerf, so 5 purple is probably going to be in the optimal build anyways, defeating the purpose of doing this in the first place.

Those notes are based on the old Powered Up/Gamma Bomb packs which isn't even the name of the token being handed out (Hulk Comic pack or whatever).

LOL, again, not surprised. I think they are called "The Hulk Comic Pack (featuring Modern Hawkeye)". Seriously, he's literally all I've gotten from every single token from this event. On a positive though, I pulled a GSBW and Spidey from two of my standard Recruit Token drops earned from PvE. Not that I needed them, but it's a hell of a lot more exciting then seeing that smug Hawkeye. He's laughing at me, I know it.

Same here, although I have to admit that I did pull a OBW cover, but it's blue...

I think the question is whether to put 5 in Purple or 4 in Red -- Blue is just kind of a given

But yeah, the minor loss on Transloc is barely noticable. The increase in swaps gained from 5P is also useless since there are rarely that many blue/red on the board -- especially if you are using blue to match crits.

On the other hand, 4R lets you spam your projectile with a single red match. I can't tell you how many times that has saved me.

I'm not really participating in this event. I have no interest in the new Thor and I've already collected all of Punisher's covers during Episode 4. I had hoped the progression rewards handed out Hulk covers as mine is at the soft cap at 5/1/2. Oh well.

m. hawkeye red and thor (**) red. it's been the m. hawkeye assault token mostly for me as well.

oh well, i did get a black hulk from a standard last night 3/0/3, but will be 4/0/3 tomorrow when i get my 90 day daily reward.

Really interesting this time around for West Coasters like myself, I can't speak for others, but this event is ending during working hours, which means I can't finish my last sub during the last few hours to finish at the top. When it used to end at 9 AM PST the timing was perfect for me because I could finish right before work started.

However, given how the reward structure is now, it's not a big loss. I can't finish top 4, but I am still getting 2 tokens each round (1 from each sub-event), and I am on schedule to finish top 1000 so I should be able to pick up 3 of the new Thor covers, at worst I'll get two, depending on how the rest of the week goes.

And like most of the rest of you.....it seems like Cap is on vacation only to be replaced by Modern Hawkeye I've pulled him 3 times out of my 4 tokens so far.

Pulled 5 Thors 1 Hawkeye so far. Almost fully rebuilt at level 6 still keep pulling red or yellow instead of greens for him. He is staying at 6 though, if I need to level a Thor it will be the 3* one.

My goto team for this event has drifted into being Black Panther, Punisher, Spiderman. I've been avoiding Spiderman, but he works really well with Punisher and BP, completes a rainbow team, and allows a stun on Hulk before he gets angry. Now that I've gotten BP up near level 90, he's truly fearsome with the current buff.

120 patch, 85 spidey, and 60 black panther is working well for me. Will throw in 85 Thor or 85 OBW every once in a while. Patch just speeds up the game imo. Berserker Rage + level 3 Rage of the Panther is usually game over for them

No one's using the buffed MHawkeye? He's doing all kinds of work for me. Blast arrow makes it so that you pretty much know how far to grind someone down, and then one or two people get wiped. It's not like people aren't getting enough covers for him...

The first Hulk or one of the Hunts when mHawkeye was super buffed I used him exclusively. Blast arrow rocks when it's buffed. I'd consider using him or Thor's Call of the Storm if my Black Panther wasn't already doing a fine job.

Buffed M Hawkeye is functional at the whims of the countdown placement.

When I use him, 99% of the time I save up to put one of his countdowns on the board, it's destroyed before it does off. He *really* needs to be able to choose where his countdown tile goes. With that, he'd be a much more usable character. As Hawkeye is now, he's less useful than Captain America.

Two months ago, the devs announced that Wolverine X-Force and M. Hawkeye would get buffs ... I do wish they would get on with that and actually do the buff.
