Hi Devs! What's New?

  • It happens.

I mean the only big box I bought I think I had 1 mythic and 5 rares.

It is not a huge stretch to imagine it could give fewer.
  • I would really like to hear about pricing, and alternative methods of gaining packs and cards. I have spent a few hundred on Hearthstone, and wouldn't mind dropping a bit on this game. I can't seem to find $25/big box worthy of the expenditure. $20 for the big box at very most, maybe a $3 a pack? I know HS has many more cards, or at least that is the perception, so giving out packs can be much less of a financial hit.

Also, I'd love to hear more about multiple decks for planeswalkers. I hate wanting trying out new decks, and having to scrub my existing one to make room.

one other thing, can we get some information on people that seem to have +400 scores on QB within a few hours of the match going live? I was in the top 5 a few days ago, and a person came from way below in the rankings to 405 in the hour I spent away from playing. I don't know if botting is a thing, but that was highly suspect.

I agree with mooNinja about pricing (but then again, I'm not an app dev, so what do I know) and that it would be nice to have extra decks (although I'm not sure how you'd do that in this interface and I know that's lots of extra database space).

Re: 400 points an hour, I'd say unless you had more than one account and knew where the person started, it's hard to infer how many points they got in an hour when you can only see the 10 around you and the top 10. If you did see them around your level and then later saw them in the top 10 with 400 more points in an hour, I'd agree that this would be fishy. That's a game every 45 seconds (assuming exactly 400 in exactly one hour). Although I suppose the "level 50 getting matched against levels 1-5 bug" could account for it.
  • I think my dream deck could do about 120 points/hour without using bugs.
I don't have animist awakening yet and can pull off about 80/hour.
I'm missing another card too for completing my dream deck but animist awakening alone would provide enough boost to get >100/hour I assume.
  • I cannot imagine pulling more than 100-150 per hour unless you are abusing the level 50 vs level 5 bug.

Hey there, I was sitting at 400ish points, and rank 10 below me was somewhere in the early 100s before I stopped for a break. It could be a glitch that he was gaining points and I wasn't seeing it being refreshed, but it still seems fishy.

    What is your current deck?
  • I kinda have a love hate with animist.

I mean it is utterly amazing.

But I find myself waiting too long for the "perfect" animist.

Also I tend to pop it and then get a chain of cascades while my hand is already full up on mana T.T
