    Got lucky and snagged the Classic Cyclops cover in the vault thanks to the Daily Deal. Guess I know who my next Champion will be (unless I manage to get an Iceman cover from the DDQ today...).

    Sigh, was just 600 pts short of top 10 for my bracket. I normally don't bother with trying for it, but the blackflag.pngicon_deadpool.png cover would have been #13 for him. Oh well, I got an yellowflag.png OML from the progression, so it was a good run anyway.

    I still have an hour left and am headed for a top 100 space. That's fine since I don't stand a chance of being in the top ten, anyway. I earned enough event points for those 25 commandpoints.png so I already feel like I've won.

    I thought I was in the same boat, but somehow managed to just hang on to 50th (51st was only 32 pts behind!). Hope you have the same luck. I've had my fare share of missing my target placement by <5 spots...

    Don't overlook grinding those 3 trivial nodes and the loaner node down to nothing before the end of the sub, after you've done your last clear, and if you're able. They're easy, and you'be surprised how many times I've gone from 50-60 to 20-30 placement just because of that. They can add up. Especially when somebody else around your rank is tying himself up with a long fight against a boosted (and scaled at this point) 3* Daken in the hard node that they still might not clear.

    I think this is what did it for me. I only had ~5-10 minutes to take a break, so I did two of the trivial nodes as many times as I could and that must have done it.
