I've been playing the heck out of this. Placing high against other players is actually secondary to me. While I would love to place in the top ten for some more Nick Fury covers, I just don't believe that's going to happen. There's almost assuredly some Storm Mohawk covers in my future instead.

What I really want to make sure I have enough event points for those 25 Command Points. I'm currently at 30,367 out of the 46,000 needed so I'm pretty confident that I'll succeed after the final section opens up for me tomorrow morning. Goodness knows I've been milking "Luck Be a Lady" for all it's worth. I've long since earned all the rewards so I just keep playing the mission for their event points.

I have enjoyed the team of Doc Ock and Falcon against all those minions. Ock's blackflag.png and Falcon's yellowflag.png have been a terrific combination.

Minion nodes aren't too bad, even with Mystique in the mix. I've been steamrollering them with boosted 3* Magneto, Captain Marvel and GSBW.

Mission accomplished. I turned in 20 of those 25 Command Points for a yellowflag.pngicon_wolverine.png . That makes me happy. Any other rewards I receive from this point for the event are just icing on the cake.

Any reliable teams to beat the MNMags required node?

That node is seriously fubar. Really. Mystique + 2 blue feeding goons typically means Mystique will start an infiltration train that keeps rolling out shapeshifts and masterstrokes. icon_rolleyes.gif

    I give up

MMN, IM40, Quickie all at 3/5/5. Get green asap, Fists of Fury Mystique to death
Okay, might give him a shot, I don't have him maxed but I do have his green at 5. If he's fast enough he might be able to pull it off. I was also thinking Psylocke might be good here? She has a cheap black that also places attack tiles.

I did beat it before with IM40/Lcap, but it really hinges on getting 6 yellow quickly to feed the shields (or luck into enough blue before Mystique gets going). But out of 3 or 4 matches I won only one, the rest of the times she tore through my team like crazy.

3*Daken (lvl 174) and Ock (210-boosted) are rocking this event for me.

pretty much every match I run out of tiles for the strikes and attacks to go. getting upwards of 3,000ish dmg per turn. it gets ugly quick

I used Spidey & Hulk, both Champions for me, with Magneto for that node. It worked very well for me.

I'd take that over the yellow XFW I got.

ugh. Finished the event with 45000, just short of the 25 commandpoints.png . All because I was travelling for work and forgot to account for timezone change.

just to add my strategy with hood - I usually try ice or im40 (or both). if I can get to either 6 yellow or 6 blue quickly it goes pretty well. if not, its a slog.
