Funny how everyone's last Uncommons so far have been white. My last one was War Oracle, which I was desperately searching for. After sitting on runes until I was at about 60,000 I opened 3 pack after 3 pack in search of it, and finally got it when I was down to about 4,000 runes.

The creator of a large MTGPQ FB community has spent a large amount of money ($300+?) And is now down to about 5 cards left to find. It had been weeks since she posted she found a new card. I wonder if there is an algorithm in play that drastically reduces the chance of you obtaining new cards everytime you get a new card. This could be possible, considering that events give you random rares or mythics instead of specific cards. With specific cards as prizes, I guess it would be too easy for players to complete the collection, and they probably don't want that to happen, since someone with every card would have nearly no reason to spend any more money on the game (Potions are the only thing I can think of, and even then, it's not often one is needed with 5 maxed planeswalkers)

It seems to me that certain cards have different drop-rates amongst the same rarity tier.

I'm lacking five uncommons, one of which is Knightly Valor. I'll let you know if I find it last The only color I have complete for uncommons is Blue, I'm lacking one of each for the rest.

Just to know: how many total uncommons are there?
Cause the MTGPQ.com has not the correct amount since rabid bloodsucker is wrongly listed as uncommon AND it lists 88(so actually it has 87 I think?) while I have 89 in my collection....

There is: it's called, "you already have a bunch of cards."

Seriously though, it makes perfect sense that someone needing only 5 cards would take forever to get them, or never get them. I am missing most of the cards and I still get mostly dupes on rares and uncommons. When all you need is the last card, that's tremendous odds. "Pulling an uncommon" is so much different than "pulling a specific uncommon."

This is very true. I imagine it would probably cost close to $1,000 for even a decent chance at completing the collection, and even then, there's always that chance that you end up with a bunch of duplicate mythics and still miss a few.

My last uncommon was red: Goblin Piledriver. I believe it was my 223rd card, I'm at 228 now.

Talent of the Telepath has been my target since December, still no luck.

I discovered that I was missing 2 UCs, Boggart Brute and PatV. However, I just picked up 2 today from binging on basic boosters; also picked up Relic Seeker.

Anyhow, I went through my inventory and found the cards that are missing from MTGPQ.com: Send to Sleep and Vastwood Gorger. That brings the total to 89.

Started playing in december so i openned a fairly good amount of packs... playing black i decided i wanted to start using black dual land (shivan reef) just to see that it was the only one that i didnt already have.

30 packs later i finally got one (and its a damn common)

now i get 1 every 5 packs

Congratz. I want that one so badly. It's such a pain to play against it in the story mode (white heroic with 10 supports)

Don't know what kind of card wrath is. My plan is to play red and get out 2 demolish the first (2) turn(s). Last time I tried I went out of potions and didn't care for another try since then.
I guess the second best option is to play jace against it.

What's funny to me is that green...GREEN...is the only color with a true wrath. What the hell? And it's not even a wrath, it's better, it's a Nevinyrral's Disk since it destroys all permanents on the battlefield.
